Why should I before into a 10 loss streak just because I had a winning streak? I really dislike it when Silver players are pitched against Plat players

When you're on a winning streak, your MMR goes up as it has no connection to your actual performance just the win/loss. So, even if you got carried, it can go up much faster than your LP gain. And it will result in a point when you will be placed in pretty unfair games where your team is inferior to the enemy team as you, with your tanked MMR took a nice chunk from the team's average MMR. So, probably you will start to lose until your MMR goes down to the point when you can start to win again. This system let you climb with ease when you are so much better than everybody around you, even several divisions above. But when you aren't, then it will mean continous win and lose streaks with a long and slow grind to actually go anywhere. Everybody experience this. It works as intended...

They force a 50% win ratio as most as possible. Yeah, rigged :P Plus, lots of snowballing factors have been (wisely?) added, so everything is even more one-sided. Good job :D
