seriously it needs to be toned down a bit! specially on DoT champs on is cancer in general

every mage picking 1st/2nd item now

A lot of mages don't build Rylais and if they do build it is often times one of the last items. Most mages can't cause a permanent slow considering they would need to be able to spam their spells to do so. Secondly, most mages require a CDR item rush typically morellos followed by a high AP to dominate the mid game before people start building resistances therefore they rush rabadon. Once people do have resistances they are forced to get void staff.

The trinity still exists for most mages and Rylai's can't come into effect until after it. item 3165 item 3089 item 3135

mages aren't all building rylai at all. there's a handful it's core on, but in most cases they'd only ever buy it if they wanted to kite a strong enemy tank line so that the adc can dps them down in relative safety.

The ones that aren't only dont because they don't benefit from the slwo since their spells have CC or a slow on it already.

I feel that with its utility rylais shouldn't be offering some of the highest ap in the game, i think either its utility or ap should be reduced

The fact it has as much health as any tank item.

rylais should be a 60 ap item. sorry but its the best cc item in the game and its permanent it does not have a time window or an active for it. its passive effect.

but thats just making mages in general weaker. and ad carries stronger.

There is a reason Fromal is so cost ineficient.

The fact that Rylais gives as much AP as Ludens while giving you as much HP as Deadmans on top of the permaslow is ridiculous. Lower the AP and give it more HP so it can stay an AP bruiser item.

No, you forget its only toxic on an immobile melee champion Skarner .

Its healthy on Ashe, Gnar, Brand, Zyra, etc who can all do it from the safety of range. :^)

They just need to lower the ap on Rylai's. It has such good stats that it's worth buying even without the passive, 100 ap and 400 health with a utility effect? They lowered Zhonya's ap because it had utility, do the same to Rylai's.

Honestly it's a niche item pick, people don't buy it explicitly for the ad as they usually have other more reliable ways of putting damage down (Vayne, Gnar) and it would be better to nerf the slow on it, if it needed nerfs at all.

They weren't broken. Tabi, mobi, serker, and Mercs were considered underpowered alongside swifties being in a good spot.

The current tabi/serker/mercs would compete with pre-nerf swifties. Its only 10 more MS than current.

Unless you're playing Shyvana or Gnar then item 3022 is not something you should be using.

As for item 3116 it's not all that helpful against champions who can leap from the edge of the screen at the mages who ACTUALLY use it.

FM is cancer on Gnar. I could go 3-0 against a Gnar, and his stupid speed-up mechanic mixed with Frozen Mallet makes it impossible to close the gap if you don't have dashes and he knows how to kite.

As for Rylai's, I'd want it nerfed so people stop building it on already hard-to-catch champs that become obnoxious to kill with them. Like an Ahri. Not a normal item on her, but if she does get it, she kites forever and slows you while doing it. It should be a niche but so many meta champs build it atm.
