Dodging Yasuo's Tornado?

I don't usually play against Yas since I'm rarely if ever Mid. This means I largely see him mid game when he's trash or murdering everyone (regardless of team) but last night I was giving GP a swing in the top and I played against him. While I ended up smashing this guy (I think he was bad, I never play GP), I was struck by how seemingly impossible it is to dodge his tornado assuming the guy can fire a skill shot. How do you guys handle this? I'm certain there's something I'm missing here so I came to learn but if he's remotely close and wears glasses, how do you dodge this thing?

Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Best tip, it takes two q hits to charge the tornado. Most yasuo players will try to harass you with the tornado. I'm sure you're aware that he can use his dash to turn it into an AOE so standing in charge range essentially guarantees that he will hit the knockup and subsequent ultimate. His nado is a pretty decent hitbox but while it might seem obvious having decent range away from him makes the nado a lot easier to dodge. Also he has a casting animation unless he uses his w to mask the animation. So in short, have decent range so you have time to react, and watch his character so as to notice it's windup animation for even more advanced warning. Hope this helps, see you in on the rift!

Thanks, man. I actually don't know anything about him. I picked up pretty quick that if I hung back and poked him with my Q I'd be ok (he also couldn't aim for shit). I just thought "How do immobile mages in mid dodge this guy, he's all over"

I had no idea the nado charges up. I appreciate the feedback.
