Spellbinder is going to make AP assasins broken
I already know it's going to happen, this item is so cost efficient and that passive grants SO MUCH free AP. Watch out for

The item is very gimmicky and seems to by falling into the effect of Luden's when it was first introduced. Time will tell whether the item actually makes a substantial impact on this game but currently, Twin shadows has a higher impact on the game than this item.
The stats on this are... questionable...
2800 for 100 AP and 10 movespeed, okay.
then you read the active. UP TO 100 EXTRA AP GRANTED WHAT THE ACTUAL F*CK + movement speed
imagine the shit you can oneshot with that, and so early too.
they will only get the full effect after being near 100 ally team spells
The problem with Spellbinder: After you use it, it loses its stacks.

"Problem?" Are you kidding? That's the only thing keeping it balanced. This item is stronger than DFG ever was, and that got removed because of how powerful it was. The loss of stacks on use is what keeps it somewhat balanced. Currently it's OP. If stacks would stay, it would be broken.

15% HP + +120 Ability Power + increases all subsequent magic damage taken by target 20% for 4 seconds vs non %HP = stronger confirmed.
It's not stronger than DFG. Although, it effectively completes bringing DFG back into the game somewhat (
have the other components, so really.... if you run the three items, it's effectively there, but one isn't an AP item so it's a major build setback unless you're on a team of mages)
I feel this is going to be core on
Edit: does spellbinder proc on your own casts?

It does, but it doesn't work great on Eve. Just had a game with huge AP numbers (like 900+) and a
and was barely tickling the no MR enemy team unless they were horrendously mispositioned. Soon as they were grouped they can just huddle around your W target and nuke Evelynn in a quarter second while her spells require a full rotation to do anything beyond 20% of an enemy's health.
Maybe with some hybrid CDR focused tank build it could work, but the pure AP it offers is really pretty abysmal for her, same with Rabadon's.
Or maybe as a last item, but even then 200 AP is a pretty weak pickup for a last choice. She needs to spend 3-4 of her item slots addressing her lack of engage before she can afford to look for adding a miserable +240 damage to her full Q cycle at the expense of an item slot.

Assassins do not work well with this since they kinda want to gank?
New deathcap changes is also a concern of mine. Snowball will be too much.
It's not that good.
No, not at all,u need to get it to 100 spell casts to be useful, which is literally impossible in a game unless u dont use it like at all or u have karthus/cass in the game
It only lasts 4 seconds and the ms decays.
I can see champions with delayed damage making good use of it. Fizz I obviously agree with (land R, then pop it, then go in). Ahri is a big maybe (as an Ahri player I throw my Q almost immediately behind my charm because I'm fairly confident when I'm going to hit one, learning to use the active between the two casts will be a big adjustment, while using it before charm is high risk (burn 100 stacks and miss the charm?). Katarina? Could be OP in low Elo, but otherwise you should be cc'ing her as soon as she goes in anyways, so she'll probably not get much use from it. LeBlanc likewise to Ahri will either need to risk using it first, or have used her main damage before the cc goes off?
It could end up broken, but it doesn't seem super OP yet. Maybe it's just a learning curve though. It does take ages to stack though - every game I've gotten it, we've won the game right around the point I got it to full stacks for the first time.
