Lower Talon Q and E to 25 mana and raise his W to 80 at all ranks
I don't know why Q needs to cost 60 or why E needs to cost 55

Meanwhile, we don't have our silence anymore.

It was never balanceable
So a 1 second silence is too much on a champion with crap early game, mediocre poke and burst(compare to Zed and LB), no escape, no sustain, and no resets/multiple dashes....ok....

He had around a 58% winrate in Challenger when he had the silence
Mord and Urgot have 100% winrate in the last month in challenger, winrate in challenger is somewhat meaningless because there are so few players in challenger.

It was that way for months.
HE DID?
Yes, a 1-second silence is too much on an assassin who's able to pull his entire burst rotation in 1 second, then walk away with 2 seconds of stealth+MS in case they survived.

That actually was the problem. The higher up you went the better the player was at taking advantage of that. Now people have room to actually respond.
Ya pink ward and trinket for dat stealth? Support CC? If you can't react in the time it takes someone to press 4 to 5 buttons, you deserve whatever they pull on you...
You'd have to use the pink ward/trinket preemptively in order to actually catch him yourself, because item activation is also blocked by Silence.
If Talon dove you when your support's CC was available, Talon was being an overconfident moron.
You literally could not react to Talon auto-rotating E-W-Q-R. Your only option was to stay out of his E range, which you cannot visibly see at all times. If you survived his combo and managed to spot him with your anti-stealth, he was still some distance away with an MS steroid while you are still slowed by Rake.
Talon gets mobis, which gives like 0 MS in combat...and if Talon does not go in in some scenarios, then his entire team will die before he gets a good opportunity. As a Talon main, I can't even begin to count all those times when the engages on my team was crap and I ended up not being able to kill anyone since my team can't pop any CD. If I'm 20/2, maybe I deserve to 100-0 you? Maybe if I'm 20/2, I deserve to win even though my team is apparently a bunch of llamas who can't even use the keyboard?
Assassins naturally tend to have a high K/D rate. That's how they were designed to function.
Maybe I didn't say it properly. The problem with Talon wasn't the ability to kill a target when fed; the problem was, whether in the lead or far behind, Talon could rotate his whole kit on a target with next to no window for retaliation against him, and then walk away as if he hadn't done anything.
Having no way to predict or retaliate to an assassin is not fun. If they're behind, they're just slapping you and getting away with it; if they're in the lead, you had no chance and may as well give up, because that's how every fight with them is likely to go.
Lol but it wouldn't matter if he dumped everything on you if he's not fed...
That's...exactly why they removed it.
It should not be possible for a player who has fallen behind to be able to freely pull off their full attack rotation without at all considering the consequences of a retaliation.
It took the slightest bit of skill to master pulling off his rotation. In the three months that I mained him, it was hilariously easy to do this. But the thing that makes it imbalanced is that, whether you or your target had the lead, you could always pull off your full rotation without them retaliating.
You didn't have to think about your play if it was 1v1. It was always a free dive with no retaliation. And if there were more enemies, you just had to wait until the others were distracted. It didn't matter if your main target stayed in the very back and hadn't cast a single spell or thrown a single attack, you only had to wait until everyone else wasn't paying attention to you.
If you had the lead, you got the kill. If you were behind, you walked away without damage and just waited until your E came off cooldown (because, then, the rest was also off cooldown) and finish off the target. You didn't have to be as careful.
Note: I am not okay with how Talon is designed today. His kit was originally balanced around having that silence, and losing it leaves him without a non-ultimate defense mechanism. Other assassins have their own defense mechanisms, and it's not fair that he doesn't have one. However, the silence was not fair either, and this basically means I think Talon needs a rework.
Lol Talon was fine for what, 3 years? But that's beyond the point, what is done is done, he ain't getting his silence back. However, it might be cool to see a silence on his Q, so if he chooses to activate Q before he E, he gets the silence but only one auto, or E-auto-Q, and risk having the enemy get away.
I hope, when they rework him, that they make all of his mana management far less terrible.
Meanwhile, Sion's E pays 35 mana, and then this thread. Lolz.
His mana costs is the only thing keeping him from constantly going in on you at level 3. At least with higher mana costs he cant just harass all early game. The mana costs is part of what makes Talon's early game so weak.
