Wukong's Decoy
Going to get right to the point. Ever since Wukong's release date, I never liked the way his W functioned. It shouldn't be magic damage. It shouldn't stand there like an idiot.
To the Wukong haters, please, be constructive or keep it to yourself.
To everybody else, do you actually like this iteration and how it works?
For 8 years I'm been constantly suggesting that his decoy acts based off his most recent actions.
My suggestions were A) The decoy's duration is now 2 seconds. B) The decoy will AA and deal damage based off of Wukong's total attack damage, armor pentetration, lethality. C) The decoy will attack the last enemy Wukong attacked, prioritizing champions from nearest to furthest, then minions from nearest to furthest. C) The decoy still copies all of Wukong's stats, so it will have Wukong's AS buff if used after E and MS buff if Ghostblade is activated. D) If Wukong hasn't attack an enemy champion, and activates decoy, it will continue running in the direction Wukong was running for it's duration. If it reaches a target before expiration, it will attack the target. E) If Wukong is standing the still, the clone will stand still. F) Decoy will copy Wukong's abilities during it's duration. W E Q R will cause decoy to also E Q R.
I'm aware that Wukong will need to see a lot of numbers nerfed in order for this to be balanced, but as a trickster, I think his play should be balanced around the decoy. It would make him more unique.
While not exact, RIOT definitely took a step in the right direction with their concept (minus finding an unneccesary reason to keep magic damage in his kit to troll the Wukong mains). This concept can found on the surrenderat20.net as well as youtube videos showcasing the new Wukong on youtube.com and twitch.tv
Am I the only one that has a strong dislike for his decoy mechanics or are people in agreement? Maybe not the way I want it, or the way RIOT thought up earlier this year, but definitely not the way it is. Just looks like a chimp on drugs.
