She needs extra insurance in case her no counterplay all out+stun+ignite leaves the person at 10 hp.

Her AA range was nerfed by 50 in patch 5.9. It's now a "huge" 575, a little longer than average, but not worth chucking a major hissy fit over (it's the same as Zyra's, you gonna start bitching about her now too?).

Tibbers: 600 range cast 290 range initial effect

= 745 range 1.25-75s stun

Its no 800 range Syndra dark sphere, but its far enough to keep you off your minions if you are "playing correctly"

Unless specified otherwise, LoL wikia always lists radius.

For comparison 145 is the second lowest MELEE attack range.

Then why not reply to him that 290 in this equation should not be divided by 2 because it's a radius instead of acting like he can't do a simple addition ? I don't really care that much tbh, it's just it was obvious he was not meaning 600+290 = 890.
