Is it bad to take about 10 day breaks from ranked?

I'm one of those people who spaces out their ranked games, it's namely due to me not feeling up to snuff for it

Granted I'm still only low elo, I prefer plenty practice first, seeing as I'm pretty much an OTP AP Ekko

it gives me plenty of time to learn other champs from their point of view and how to play around them ( and eventually find backup champs in the case he does get banned.

but is 10 days to big of gaps, I guess is what i'm tryin' ta say.

I only play my placements once per year to get gold so I can get the Victorious Skin. What Im saying is, you don't need to play ranked to get better. Playing Normal - Draft is the same game :P

If you're going to be playing Normals still during that time then you probably won't get rusty and a 10 day break is fine. Taking time out of Ranked to learn more champions and improve your knowledge of the game is going to help you climb more than spamming Ranked will.

i would play a few ranked games a day, if you go on a winning spree, keep playing. If you lose 2 in a row, stop for a day.

I think long breaks are a good idea when you're experiencing a loss streak or are on hard tilt.

Otherwise it's probably not so good an idea. Except in the loss streak scenario it's probably best to play ranked most of your games.
