Why does comet.. miss?

I don't see how this is a good thing for poke mages (they are aren't in the best spot honestly) Their late-game is pretty lackluster too, especially when their job is to peel for the team.. while everyone else can flash roll their face across the keyboard and proc electrocute + kill you instantly . . then ur comet misses LOL.

I can see why after-shock would miss (it doesn't) but it's really there for the extra survival not for damage.

Most jungler nidalee's don't even run comet. She runs electrocute like Elise. Oh wait Elise better jgler :P

nidalee is more of an assassin imo.

electrocute works probably better on her. ask her mains, i dont know.

and to answer ops question, its because its aoe and its cooldown gets reduced by spell hits.

Hard to call her a mage, per se; she is AP, but also Assassin/Skirmisher. She also lacks any level of CC that most mages possess. She's classified as a specialist.

Literally if they don't get 5+ kills within 10 mins, they are just a waste of space an/or instantly popped by Aatrox/irelia/any living assassin (Fizz etc)

If you don't want comet to miss, use a spell that applies at least a slow. If you have nothing that applies even a soft cc, use aery instead.
