jungle feels so unsatisfying to play ever since the xp nerf. You can get every dragon, objective, but still be behind or at most even with lanes. Gutting JG xp to deal with 'better jungle wins' in the pre season was not the way to go. No one ever thought to themselves 'wow, this (insert early game jg) does too much damage in the late game, better nerf his XP'.

Now you have to gank a lot as a jungler if you want to win the game since powerfarming is not viable.

Jungle is the strongest role in the game

Who ever gets jungle has to gank none stop. So its a crappy job. Most jungles miss the old days were they could take there time farming and ganking at the correct moments. Now they have to rush and gank. they can't really take there time like they use to. Jungles don't get the time to breath compared to the old days. Feel bad for them the most.

To keep up in experience I have to leech a lane every time I gank, and unless I kill the enemy laner that means my laner starts falling behind.

It's a very stressful role right now, especially with the meta being high-burst assassins to get ahead by ganking and bruisers who get ahead by ganking, counter jungling and counter ganking the assassins. Unless it's a level 2 1v1 where the assassin will win unless you can kite perfectly.

I played one game of ADC (my off-role) in a premade 5 because everyone was on and my support main friend (who I used to lane with all the time) wanted me to lane with him. It was SO MUCH MORE RELAXED AND FUN than jungling. Only problem was I had to completely rely on my team to keep up against their opponents (thankfully they did).

Maybe because it's annoying to get flamed by everyone because they lose their lane solo and you didn't INSTANTLY teleport somehow to save them?

I rather enjoy jungle, but my biggest turnoff is having to babysit bot because of demolish rune and because of how much damage two champions do to towers.

BullllllSHIT, I have been queing mid/jungle for quite a while in plat 3 + elo and guess where I have been autofilled every time? Fucking top lane. Top is least picked role by far.

Vietnam loves jungle.

Gutted role :(, basically only truly relevant earlygame, weak midgame and completely dependent on your laner carries lategame.

Ive been qd top primary jungle secondary for like 8 games and have played top once. No one wants to jungle. You can get ahead early and have it mean nothing. Pathetic this company.

To be fair once you get to Diamond-ish there are basically no Toplane mains

Edit: If someone fucking @'s me saying 'bUt Tf bLaDe' I will lose it

They should have just made jungle camps more deadly to hamper the level 2 ganks.

III BAKURYU III 4/28/2019, 5:34:31 AM2 votes

I personally have no clue what keystone/Rune etc to jungle with?!?! Every rune is only viable vs Champions so it makes me think I just have to clown fiesta my lanes.
I may be reading such runes wrong or so but literally all say something about "Vs Champions" or something like that. Also, as a jungler you are at the mercy of your lanes not to feed as you fight for your life against jungle creatures, being down 1-2 levels as is before the feeding starts.

Ayanami3rd4/28/2019, 6:27:25 AM2 votes

As a laner, I feel that jungle is just a completely weird role. Which camps do I do first? What about the scuttler? When to gank? And why does the enemy jungler so often know where I am?

I know that there are explanations for all of this, but seriously no one goes like "Oh, I got autofilled jungle! Let me just read these five tutorials first!". Smart people will now answer that you get the necessary knowledge over time. Yeah, but if I need to spam 100 horrible jungle games to even be usefull, I frankly just don't start with it at all. And when I am autofilled jungle, I just pick Sejuani, try not to feed, and fulfill my role as an underleveled CC bot.

SSXXIII4/28/2019, 3:30:08 PM2 votes

Junglers still decides the game since gank junglers are stronger then ever before, i mean they should just remove the lvl 2 off 1 camp and nerf redbuff. actually they should buff blue since its pretty much worthless exept giving it to mid.

relase a new jungle champion. BOOM everyones a jungle main for a week lol

SirPurrr4/29/2019, 4:57:31 AM1 votes

Jungle is kind of transitioning into a gold/xp starved role much like support. It's not that extreme but who wants to lack the resources to carry individually? Even our best late game rune (Dark Harvest) was ruined. You're at a disadvantage stacking it relative to laners and it's very bad unless you're super ahead... at which point you'd probably have won regardless of your rune. You depend so much more on teammates than almost every other role.

Moreover, it feels out of your control if your teammates refuse to listen to calls or pings about the enemy jg's location etc. Thus, it often feels like you get "cheated" when the enemy jungler wins. For instance, bot is max pinged 20 seconds before a gank (just by deduction from being a good jungler and knowing camp timers), and they ignore it then die. You counterjungling in that situation is punished despite being the best decision if your laners listen and react to information. Afterwards, they type about how you got outjungled when they basically inted to him. It just feels unfair. That's why jungle mains are probably more salty than in other roles.

AceAlex0314/29/2019, 2:01:08 PM1 votes

Maybe because their is such a potential gap of skill with junglers, like that hecarim the know exactly where you are at all times and invades at just the right time, every time getting a kill and taking all your jungle while also being all over the map that impossible to predict. That type of player is so daunting for new jungle players that they just say,"jungle is not for them". Also maybe when being stomped on when trying to learn, and than your team starts flaming you for not doing the right thing, even though you have basically no clue what your doing. This pushes away from potential jungle players from trying to learn.(It doesn't help that when they start playing the game, the first thing they play against doesn't even jungle, bots, and that jungle is probably the hardest thing for new players to learn.

GripaAviara4/28/2019, 8:54:27 PM1 votes

I jungle, but my biggest issue with jungle, is if the enemy team wards and enemy jungler invades your jungle having a slight advantage and you team just sleeps as you get raped, it's almost game over for you as a jungler
