The way these boards work is that if you agree with the upvoted OP or say somethinf witty, you get upvotes.

But if you disagree and state this. You must have an excellent argument to prove your point, and even then you can still get downvotes.

lol even when I provide valid points and 100% logic to my argument that completely blows the OPs argument out of the water I get nothing but hate...

if you don't jump on the bandwagon and join in on the circle jerk and cry about everything and blame riot for everything then you are seen as a troll

Upvotes are a rare commodity on gameplay. The default currency on gameplay is downvotes. To be honest, the more downvotes you have, the more likely you are to be correct, as accuracy is inherently offensive to gameplay forums.

Not at all, you should post something that community agree with.

If you wait about a week the boards will start complaining about Fiora more, guaranteed huge upvotes if you cash in at the right time

It's all about opportunity, post the right thing at the right time

Everybody hates Yasuo, so maybe go that route... If I try to look at any other champ individually I'm definitely getting down voted lol.

if you make a valid post that the sheep don't like you will upset the herd and you will be bombarded with hate and downvotes even if you are 100% correct. so instead of trying to get the approval of the sheep... be 100% real with you thoughts and opinions and fuk the haters

now if you care about fitting in and getting upvotes like they mean something then fall in line with the hate of riot , blaming everything but yourself for your mistakes and elo/rank and admit no blame to anything. hop right in on the bandwagon and join in on the circle jerk and you will fit in just fine

Depends on the topic and how you present it. If you present a clear argument, you'll get upvotes. Similarly, if you put a ton of work in, you'll also possibly get ignored. So just focus on actually arguing for somethign you believe in instead of trying to farm upvotes.

Well " What do I need to post not get down-voted"

  • That alone will get you downvoted because it's begging, you understand?

About 80% of people on these boards are either trolls, idiots or people who don't agree with logic.
Same number about 80% of people on these boards are Bronze players/Silver who think everything is OP, they can't win because of their teammates, Riot hates them etc etc so logic, and reason goes out the window or out of both ears and into the void with them.

How to get upvotes

  1. Blame Riot/meme etc. Riot is like the government/the man /the escape goat to everyone's problems. No one likes them because they are in charge and they aren't.

  2. A silly meme Make up a meme most people/players are either 5-18 years old so their meme juices are sky high. I mean look at the "feels bad memes, Hambre, etc" that are either really old, stupid, or childish but people on these boards eats it up.
I mean look at PTL in the past about 95% of that was nothing but memes/jokes and people love it even tho it's just the same ol' stuff/ sayings that you hear over and over again watching someones streams.

How to get down-voted

  • Logic People don't like logic because again most of the community are either really stupid/ are garbage at the game, ragers etc.
So ANYTHING that makes a lick of sense gets down-voted.

  • Ranked Surprisingly if you talk about Ranked you will get downvoted even by the same people who also complain about the same stuff/ranked. However, once you actually think about it here's why Get good - I'm sure you heard this often right? It's so scratched in people's minds that once they see a post about Ranked they instantly will say " GET GOOD NOOB" because that's what they were told and want to get a piece of the abuser side of things instead of being the victim like in the past.
