This community's toxicity literally has no limits

Just when you think it's bad, it gets worse. Just when you think you've seen it all, you haven't.

1st Example: Playing Shen Top, my ult is on cooldown for 83 seconds and I get flamed for not ulting a Syndra who is dying.

  1. She is in a 1v4 in the enemy jungle.
  2. I am top and I have no teleport so my tower well most likely be dead when I get back.
  3. Well.... my ult is down

So I tell the 2 flaming me to look at the green dot on my portrait and see if my ult was up. Then they start questioning me on when I used it. IF IT IS ON COOLDOWN, THEN I USED IT. END OF STORY.

RIOT DISPLAYS A DAMN TIP ON THE LOADING SCREEN ON THE GREEN DOT WHICH SHOWS WHO'S ULT IS UP AND AT LEVEL 30 YOU SHOULD KNOW THIS.

2nd Example: Our Mid is 1/7/2 and flames me (jungle 4/1/3) for not giving 2nd blue to him and giving it to 3/0/2 Top.

Yeah, like mana regen is gonna help you die less. That blue buff will be in the enemy mid's hands about 20 seconds after I give it to you considering you have 7 deaths at 15 minutes.

3rd Example: Playing Yasuo jungle and going 21-9-14. Our AP Malphite goes 8-15-12

We had a huge lead and were beginning to throw because he was feeding the enemy by continuously getting caught out. He should've built tank but chose to go AP. Garen, Ryze, and Yasuo (me) asked him to group, while our Mundo was grouping at least half the time. He refused and kept running headlong into the enemy or just roaming the jungle.

We lose the game because he was roaming the map while our base was under attack and then he blames the rest of us for losing because he did "more damage". First off, he did more DAMAGE TO CHAMPIONS. Second, I am jungle and most lanes were pushed early on so he had a 15 minute head start on damage to champs. Third, he fed hard and let them back into the game, Fourth, he refused to help the team at all. And last, another reason he was doing damage was because he was running headlong at enemies with an AP build all game.

4th Example: Our Garen goes ignite heal top and Jax flames him for doing it... Enemy Jax.

Enemy flaming your team for taking spells X and Y?

This summer (from Late May 2015 when students got out of schools) just brought the community's toxicity to a whole new level and I really think it's time for Riot to step up in punishing players more harsher. And I cannot forget to say that I've ran into more intentional feeders and gameplay trolls in the past month than in my first 15 months of League. I may be one of the luckier ones because I ran into maybe 2 intentional feeders in my first 15 months, but I've probably ran into 6 of them in the past few weeks.

I want harsher punishments, but more directed than "oh the team is reporting them". It's ridiculous when you get in your team chat "report xyz lol, no one cares" and everyone does despite you asking them not to (and remember, full cooperation). Then you get "please control yourself, you are toxic". =/ I have also seen far worse. Far, far worse. Those are pretty standard stupid things I see =/ Which says a lot. Anywho, I wish you luck. Just for support, here's my story (pretty old):

I was playing Nami support with Jinx adc. Me being me, I try to be polite and cooperative wherever I am. Jinx asks me to build multiple sightstones so I could ward for the team. I tell her that "all players have a 4 ward limit, 1 pink and 3 green". She doesn't get it and begins to flame me. Says "I shouldn't ward, only supports should". Still trying to make this turn out well, I ask "were you not here when they changed the ward rulings?". She says " I never stopped playing, supports have just been useless and incapable of properly warding the entire map". Suffice to say.... we lost. Badly. Then she tells the enemy team to report me for not warding properly and being toxic (I said nothing rude, I simply tried to explain the ward limitations). My team backs me up and says not to, and the above example happened. "Why not report her? It's not like they look anyway." Got 5 reports, and then got a message telling me not to be toxic. =) So there ya go friend.

How are you able to tell how many reports you have gotten?

EvilRabbitt1 votes

Not sure. You just get a notice.

Well that means I haven't been reported a lot. That's good.

Dude, just play Dota 2. League is a kids game, Kappa.

Please stop with the "Quit League" comments. I will just mute everyone from now on. I just had to come on here to vent my frustrations with the community.
