Playing Sona is sure fun

I had a sona who carried the whole game with me, she had a better KDA than me in the end

Sounds like that TF is really bad at playing sona.

More like they don't understand the ridiculousness that Sona's Q poke and Q empower damage can ridiculously wreck things. Not to mention how much her W scales quite strongly into late game especially when it can throw a 4 man shield buff to her entire team and her E even if it not as reliable as it used to be for her, can enable perfect roaming for a team, especially to pull off split pushes.

Lets not even get started on Sona's R change way back when it simply empowered her Q/W/E abilities and now it gives her a significant CD reduction on top of regular reduction. Making her basically the only champion who can rock beyond the 45% Cooldown stick (yes i know they don't stack together in normal sense) on all her abilities (sans ultimate obviously) which besides her mana eating issues can make her a fantastic 'support type who actually is a support and not a mage playing support' damage dealer and support especially for team fights.

I remember the days back in last season where i'd manage triple or even penta kills as Sona with my main grab items being and , which Sona i can see as the only champion who actually uses Ardent, both before and after the item was changed. Not to mention Sona is amongst one of the 'proper supports' who was pretty flexible with active items and not be utterly ruined for grabbing several of them.

Plus i didnt even have to use to pull off those shenigans.
