itemization weird

trinity ,mana reaver,mana restore infinity normal else? split pusher damage garen works?

i know in teamfights you get 2-3 shots if full dmg.

it is possible, but a different playstile than your standart bruiser build. also depends on your own and the enemy teamcomp. the enemy team shouldnt be too tanky for example or loaded with a ton of cc. also, its only a good build if youre snowballing your lane.

what you want is to look for skirmishes and catch people out. roam, ward very well and dont get caught. crit garen works well in 1v1's or small fights, but not all out teamfights as youre blowing up too fast.

season 6 made it difficult to play this build, since ghostblade lost crit (was a significant part of the build), and there is less ability to ward in general.

but ghostblade losing crit was definitely the largest hit. the idea behind the build used to be a ton of sustained damage, since you could rotate your q and spin into ghostblades active for auto attacks, into q and spin.

triforce is better than ghostblade now for this build, yes. especially since the only fully wasted stat is mana, and it doesnt have ap attached anymore, but gained cdr.

the villain mechanic also made the tanky build a lot more reliable.

on the plus side his reworked courage passive means he doesnt have to build resistance items anymore to get a bunch of bonus armor/mr. youre getting the full bonus out of it even if youre just building 2 defensive items.
