If You're Removing Green Wards, Then...

...how about compensating elsewhere for non-support roles? I mean I'm a mid who plays mages, and I quite enjoy being able to not instantly die whenever somebody picks a high-burst/cc ganking jungler and I need wards to be able to do that

How about Legendary items with ward drop actives? Maybe a nice 100 AP item with about 10% CDR and two 3-minute ward charges? Something that says "You're a wizard, Harry. But you also need those Muggle glasses to see, and I respect that."

Maybe some good and compact gun that gives 70 AD and 15% crit, or even some movement speed with a ward drop. Make sure it's a gun though or else those coddled marksmen won't know what it's for. That ghostly sickle item 3508 just confused them. Hell, they STILL try to shoot four swords out of a bow item 3031 item 3046 item 3072 item 3035

What about a hearty all-around tank item? A ward drop, ~300 hp, 25 armor, 25 mag res? Make it clear to top laners that even though they don't participate in the first 15 minutes of the game, that warding is for everyone

Or how about doubling the wards you get on trinkets and making trinket upgrades free? Which they did.

That's fine if you don't need any other type of trinket. But since warding is now only practical via trinkets for non-supports, it's the only viable trinket and now support is pidgeonholed into sweeper

I lost it at ""You're a wizard, Harry. But you also need those Muggle glasses to see, and I respect that."" I fucking LOST IT

I'm still waiting for an upgrade to sightstone that doesn't give just hp. Maybe one that gives some ap, mr, armor, or ad. Of course adjust the numbers so it isn't broken.

Even if the trinket gets automatically upgraded, doesn't mean people will use it any more than what they do

At least pinks will be cheaper, I'm a support main (aka just a poor boy) a lot of the time I have to make a decision between completing an item or buying a pink.

See, that's the problem right there. item 2049 is a great item, but even when upgraded, it becomes a waste of a slot. It's totally okay to make a powerful item whose unique passive is a ward drop.

I'd give up Luden's passive for wards. It's a worthwhile trade.

Since I'm a support main, I'd love item 3092 to have a vision related active other than a skill shot slow active. Maybe I would upgrade it more often and maybe other ap champs would pick it up. Even it was just item 3342, it would be more useful than it's current active.

I quit being a support main at the Season 4 change to vision. I used to love being able to buy a full set of greens and pinks, then go play Lite Brite on the enemy jungle. It really lets a support carry games

Buy pinks, they are going to be cheaper. I think I also read something about trinkets automatically upgrading.

You get only one pink. I saw nothing of changing that in patch notes

Their was a issue with warding in the game that prevented Assassins to snowball their lead effectively. So it's kinda logical they had todo something against this warding problem. Removing the steath wards is actualy not a bad idea. They made item 2043 cheaper (75 gold now). So this will probaly be the primary midlane buy if you need vision. Than you have to decide between item 3361 item 3364 that are actualy free now.

Everyone gets free trinkets/upgrades. Yellow automatically starts with 2 wards. Problem solved. Read the patch notes, it was all in there.

That's great...if you have a warding trinket. Heaven help you if you decide to go for either of the other two.

Item diversity much?
