Amazing system Riot, trolls will actually be able to now troll games even more without any real punishment; amazing system and matchmaking.

Please don’t tell me we have to wait a year before this garbage gets reverted, REVERT IT NOW.

DON’T LET IT BECOME LIKE DYNAMIC QUEUE.

I had one troll in my game that had a sub 30% win rate on all his roles except his main.

Yea that's how people avoid losing lp in games they know they'll lose, just go to a lane you don't care about for the whole game lol.

Idk why r u downvoted, it's true, any1 with more than 1 braincell should be able to know this by now. I'm glad you brought this up, if more people keeps mentioning this, Riot will try to fix it or even revert the system.

People are downvoting it because Riot already has an answer to this, and has since the season started. If you trade roles regularly then it assumes you want to "opt out" of the positional matchmaking, and as a result it starts dragging down your main more and more.

That "fix" won't change shit since, as you said, it needs to be done REGULARLY. What if players decide to do it only when autofilled? Since you would be autofilled once every 5 games or so, it won't be done often enough for system to catch up. If anything, this only help those type of trolls to want to derank, and this system only helps them in that.

If they do it every time they're autofilled, then they'd be tightening the connection between their autofilled role and the role they pretended to be. Ironically, you described the worst time to use this trolling technique.

And all that is under the assumption that system will be good enough to go that far to make that connection. I don't like to be pesimistic but, let's just say I highly doubt Riot is able to make such system. But we'll see.

If this is true, I'd abuse the fuck out of this whenever I decide to play on NA seriously again(I play on LAN now, where there is no positional ranks). This is great for when you get one of those bot lanes that give up two double kills before 5 minutes. You just know this is over. It's about time there's a way to sidestep the LP loss.

It's true. If this shit manages to go through on my server, I'll have a blast using it. If some1 decides to troll, simply have 4 other teammates swap lanes with each other, so no1 will lose LP :) And it's not like this is an exploit or something, we will simply use a feature which Riot themselves implemented in the game, so you can't even get banned for it.

Yea but since its something that is being complained about I bet you t hey prob ally find a fix for it or revert the regions that have this back to the original ranked. I have this sneaking suspicion that is why t hey have not pushed it in every region.

I'd be interested to see how quickly troll detection catches lane avoiders like this. I've noticed a few people posting recently who got trolling bans that were less than obvious shit, not even spam deaths, so hopefully riot is catching stuff like this.

Interesting, I recently had someone do this in one of my games. Was filled Support and decided to take Top lane, which was my lane. I just stayed in my lane and let him do his thing and naturally after the game I reported him. Couple hours later I got the instant feedback report and he hasn't played a game on that account since.

Probably not worth to try this shit as you're almost 100% guaranteed to get reported, even if you win the game.

Are we sure this works for junglers? Seems to me if u take smite and have a jungle item, the system will think you're still in jungle? Maybe just sell jungle item? Haven't tested it but would like to know.

simple solution for in-game role swaps is to have a system like champ select where the people trading roles have to confirm the swap with one another.
