Games do not last long enough for it to matter, I just won a 14min no surrender game today, games snowball real quick, you better off rushing a useful support item like redemption or locket instead. Still should buy red wards though, and keep regular ward trinket.

I've had supports throw games because they refused to buy a sight. :/ We would have no wards on the map and would consistently get flanked from the sides when fighting because, Hey, we couldn't see the fed fizz/vi/assassin coming from behind or to the side of us to pick off our AD. You need wards.

well i was able to move up from gold 5 to gold 3 main support no sight stone, so i have the evidence that its not needed. at least not needed for gold elo.

red wards and trinket ward still give eyes, maybe not as much but enough from my experience. And like I said I climbing from gold 5 to gold 3 doing it, 100% no sightstone, and no flash to boot. And no god tier support either. And solo, no teaming with anyone.
What people on the boards do not realize is that rushing sightstone assumes your team has eyes. They don't. I'd much rather get things to help me have a stronger lane.
