My proposed fix for yasuo

Lower the effectiveness of on hit effects with his Q. Do not remove them, just lower effectiveness. Why? This is why. Top yasuo's highest winrate build doesn't even have a crit item. It does have trinity and fronzen mallet. Both are on hit items. Those items allow him to deal a lot of damage, have high sticking power with the FG slow, and be very tanky. Reducing the effectiveness of the items on his 1st, 2nd and 3rd Q should help bring those builds down, but leave his class cannon mid build untouched.

"Those items allow him to deal a lot of damage, have high sticking power with the FG slow, and be very tanky."

You mean to say, if any other champion buys these two items, they won't deal a lot of damage, have high sticking power and be very tanky? What if tryndamere build these items? or Jax? or Xin? or Fiora? Will they get half the stats that Yasuo gets?

largest difference. ALL THREE OF THOSE CHAMPIONS ARE NOT YASUO. I know that sounds really obvious but, yasuo has windwall, more dashes than trynd and jax, knockups, and a 50% bonus armor pen steroid.

all three of those are AD bruisers that are meant to build those items. Is yasuo a bruiser? No. Yasuo is a midlane AD glass cannon fighter. That does not mean that he cannot build bruiser. It only means that the bruiser build should not be out performing the glass cannon one.

Really they are all skirmishers. Including the ones the one guy mentioned. (Especially Fiora, as she's a duelist.) And Jax and Fiora probably have just as good situational defenses with their Riposte and their counter strike.

Also no, No melee should ever go Glass cannon. (not even a Skirmisher.) Though I wouldn't think Sterak's being my first option. But even with a need for damage, Yasuo should have all the damage he really needs with just two items. (I'm thinking IE and PD) The only other damage item I would consider is Scimitar, but I would also get that for the CC removal and Life steal. And then a Guardian angel, because it's useful to have a second life.

This is why RIOT does not listen to people on the boards

So mid lane glass cannon Yasuo is below 50% win rate, meaning he is struggling in mid lane with his "what should be" items.

Nobody gave a fk about that.

But just as he crossed that barrier, he needs to be changed ASAP? biased much?

Yasuo is supposed to be a midlane glass cannon. he was balanced before he went tank top.

He is building tank items and going top lane, and doing too well. He should stay as a midlane, mobile, glass cannon slayer.skrimsiher

Graves is supposed to be a marksman, an ADC to be played in bot lane.

How often is he played there? And how often in jg/top as a durable fighter? Wtf are these rules that say champs can't be played in lanes where they aren't supposed to? And why this applies to Yasuo only? Jax is "supposed" to be a top laner. Maokai/Pantheon/Volibear do well in both jg and top lane.

You can't dictate where to play a certain champ. It should to up to players to play said champions where they want.

Yasuo shouldnt even be top lane... The fact that he can sustain in top and mid with higher than normal win rates is pretty sickening.

people build blade of the ruined king and trinity force on glass cannon/non-tank builds pretty frequently too.

http://na.op.gg/champion/yasuo/statistics/mid http://na.op.gg/champion/yasuo/statistics/top His top lane winrates with an onhit item in them are too powerful. 4/5 of his top lane core builds feature an on hit. In midlane there is only one core build featuring an onhit item (trinity).

most people take fervor as well which is an on-hit effect

Marshbouy1 votes

highest win rate is warlords bloodlust. That's not onhit, sorry.

Rimgon1 votes

However, if you nerf on-hits, you do nerf fervor. Just because something is winning doesn't mean a champ must be pigeon-holed into using that thing. Fervor should remain a viable choice.

Marshbouy1 votes

I never said it shouldn't be viable. His on hits need to be nerfed or he will be pigeon holed into using on hits.

Just because on hit items are making a champion stronger than he should be, does not mean you don't nerf them because of one keystone.
