everyone's toxic as hell for not choosing muh meta
when a team gets ahead they stall out the game and base camp people, refusing to end while taunting nonstop
the same op's are always picked 
its not the same because it's not new, and people abuse the fuck out of the op's.
if it was random like aram, i'd probably like it a lot more.
but now its people crying about metas, people spamming ops, and being extremely toxic in what should be a FUN game mode.

Tsunday3 votesThere were like 3 champions banned last year, 2 of which weren't banned until later on. All of the picks listed in the OP were just as OP last year. Out of them only Sona was banned and Sona does a whole lot less damage now so she's not even the same rate of OP she was when she was banned last year.

It was fun last year too, just too many people whining the same last year got champs banned from URF, which was garbage can lame.
It is the same mentality as ranked "I can't be bothered to figure out how to counter it, so I'm gonna whine" Same reason Darius got nerfed so hard, because no one bothered thinking against him and just played the same old same old and got stomped.
Most of the "op" champs have counters, just no one wants to bother. They just want to complain is all.
These same kind of people complain on the boards about how ARAM is somehow unfair even though it is random...is a reason I rarely visit the boards anymore :P

What's amazing is in the Annie game I soloed 3 barons and 4 dragons. Got the 20 minute baron with no help. AWESOME.

The point is that there are a lot of champions that are strong, just many people aren't really willing to experiment beyond a select few.

I got reported for picking Blitz because the guy felt he was not viable in Urf.
I played 4 games, 3 of them had massive toxicity on at least one team ("kill yourself shitlord") and the 4th had a rage quitter followed by an intentional feeder.

The point is the mode gives a large number of champions the ability to win with zero interaction, and that gets boring really fast for everyone who isn't playing those champions.

If you lose for experimenting with different champs, just roll with it, it happens. I had weird success with Soraka mid against Ryze. Her silence field is OP on a 4s CD and caused me to get camped by the enemy Hecarim.

Play champions you think would be fun, you don't have to conform to this temporary "meta".

Bully everyone out of lane with your sustain. Or go Yorick and spam all the ghouls. I could 2 v 1 Aatrox and Hecarim at one point

People also play as them so they are like on crack with this mode. Just have fun and dont get butt hurt
