Why is "Presence of Mind" in the Precision path rather than the Sorcery path?
"Empowered abilities and resource manipulation" mmh.
"Empowered abilities and resource manipulation" mmh.
Probably because if it was put in a different rune path people would just take Triumph and then get presence of mind in sorcery for a lot of sustain.
Not to mention sorcery already has manaflow band, so riot either puts them in the same tier and then one just ends up being better than the other so the other one is useless.
Or Riot puts it in another tier in sorcery and then people take both presence of mind and manaflow band and then we have the issue of mages having too much mana sustain again.
So yeah.
Its in precision because if it wasn't it would give mages too much mana sustain along with manaflow band or manaflow band and presence of mind would just invalidating the other choice.
Sorcery might as well be “gotta go fast”
because it doesn't grant you movement speed
Sorcery? Relevant runes? What?
Because, emm yeah. I dont know. And im pretty sure riot doesnt know either.
"Why are the vision runes in domination instead of the Inspiration treee hyuck!!!"
Besides the fact that precision is in the sustain tree, it's so you have a reason to opt into the precision tree on a more diverse selection of champions as opposed to having Sorcery strictly be the best tree.
If it doesn't stay in precision, then why would I as a mage want to take precision ever?
I like that all classes have options in each tree.
Same reason that null orb is in sorcery, so that you aren't forced to only take specific trees. Otherwise if you are an ADC who wants access to that ability (or an assassin etc) then you would have to go into the sorcery tree no matter what.
It's mainly so you don't feel forced into only taking the exact same trees on every single champion that shares a class.
Why is Triumph In the Precision path rather than the resolve path. Durability.
Because then every conqueror and pta champion couldn't get it in their primary page xD
It could potential break Sorcery because it would be insanely strong for those going into that tree, but your logic is right; it's a rune that should be there.
I always thought Riot should just combine Triumph with PoM into a new keystone.
To gives options for mages to go precision, because it's similar to Triumph (which gives health restore on takedown), and because they don't want Triumph and Presence of Mind to be able to be picked together.
Because precision promotes offensive sustained combat and mana restores on takedown and ult cd refreshes are good for that?
Because mages are the only ones who use mana?
I'd love that to replace Manaflow because Manaflow is kinda broken and it being a crutch is stupid.
because precision (though usually about sustain aa damage) is just about sustained combat- this includes getting mana sustain from kills though it would also make sense for sorcery because sorcery is about resource management and ability enhancement. I think its really because pressence of mind was different before (worked more on the sustained combat and less on resorce management since before it just made you not have to spend mana once you lvled or got a kill) but now that its in its new form you can't just put it into the other tree that already has the only other form of mana sustain, like even tenacity is split between two trees.
The idea is sustained damage, and this allows caster-like Marksmen to keep pumping out damage continually. Think Lucian, Miss Fortune, Varus (he's technically a mage lol). There are more burst-heavy Marksmen and there are Mages with more sustained damage, but generally this isn't meant to serve mages since Precision is usually suboptimal because of the AS stats, which a good number of champions don't need at all.
Because it's takedowm based like Triumph and precision is about sustain. Absence of Mind gives you mana, just like triumph gives yiu heals and gold.
tbh I just use presence of mind to replace ultimate hat, works great on lux since you basically get kills a lot after lv 6
cuz its a good rune and they dont want us to pick it
I think it's good that PoM is in precision. It makes the precision tree more attractive for mages. I used to play a lot of fleet footwork on viktor (and I also played that on other control mages in certain matchups) and the other runes in precision aren't really that good for mages. Precision is als a good (secondary) choice for mages that are able to utilise attack speed, such as azir, or kayle.
In contrary, as a mage, if PoM was in sorcery, i would probably never take it. because in my opinion: Manaflow band > PoM, Transcendence/Celerity > PoM, Gathering Storm/ Scorch > PoM.
I would love to see presence of mind instead of this new rune nimbus something
Ya unless they want to add cdr to precision it belongs in sorcery
Its there so I have can justify taking Fleet Footwork on my patented Precision+Domination genius Lulu Support build.
I like taking it on Jhin. I’ve had quite the winning streak with PoM on Jhin.
