Suggestion for rengar

So Rengars rework has been sorta meh, and after the changes i cant help but wonder, why are you wasting his power budget on the most useless camouflage in league, i dont think anyone even uses it for camo anymore but yet it remains, why not remove it and give him something else for his ult instead?

I am ok with this, his kit is beyond annoying to compensate for his damageless ult

His cloaking is very iconic to him, I'd hate to see it go. Rengar should have enough damage in his kit that a utility based ultimate works just fine.

Personally, I'd just change his Q. It didn't work as an AA reset, it doesn't work as a skillshot, so, imo, it can be made a targeted ability like Warwick's Q or Evelynn's E, and Rengar can even stick to them and follow them if they dash or blink, like WW and Eve do.

It doesnt need to be a damage change, i just feel right now, hes too snowball reliant

Ahri is also snowball relient and I hate it. I do agree a champ should not be balanced around snowballing.

Yeah, i was thinking remove his stealth, but instead now his first aa also roots a the target for 1 second

I agree with removing his stealth and possibly giving him A LOT of speed on his r. Like he will be running so fast. Since no more stealth should mean more power elsewhere.

Yeah, the stealth is rather useless, since the indicator is as bright as day

He will always be snowball reliant, not because of his ultimate, but because of Bonetooth Necklace.

His bonetooth is easy to stack, his problem is he sucks when it comes to dealign damage when hes even or behind, they have gutted his damage so much that hes near useless, and since most squishy champs have ways to avoid his dmg, hes kinda screwed

That has nothing to do with Rengar, that's the meta we're in. Assassins and burst champions of all types are struggling right now.

I think Rengar's passive needs to be reworked. Not the bush leap, but the stupid trophy collecting mechanic. All it does is push him to focus targets he really shouldn't be (hey, let's try to kill this Tank so I can get my big AD bonus) and make him more reliant on getting ahead and staying ahead. Rengar really should just trade his current passive for better base stats. Also, I kind of wish his Q worked like Riven's Q to where you can hover over a target and his Q will fixate on them. Other than his passive though, I think he's ok.

I agree his current passive takes a lot of his power budget just to force a snowball mechanic, I think it shouldn't give raw stats and instead make rengar better at being rengar. Maybe something like: 1 stack: 5% lifesteal/ flat MS/ flat AD (something minimal for a first stack 2 stack: 15?(Some tuned number) out of combat MS 3 stack: Leap range (ult and bushes) increased from 725-800 4 stack: detection radius for enemies during thrill of the hunt is reduced by x amount 5 stack: When rengar leaps from thrill of the hunt he has full ferocity bar This would reward rengar and give him more power while not just throwing snowbally flat stats making him basically a statstick. IF rengars ult is set on being less favorable to him I feel like an additional mechanic should also be added, which would be at 6 the target on the enemy team who the game feels is the strongest should get a debuff similar to how garens villain mechanic works, but instead grants rengar an amount of gold (100ish, maybe have it scale with ult level) with a cooldown before the next mark appears. If not gold maybe partial ult CD refund. Something to make the thematic of a big game bounty hunter. Also the huge rewarding thing about getting 5 stacks is the full ferocity bar which is powerful but should be as a reward for killing every champ once. Basically secure rengar as a level 6 ganker who wants to snowball the moment he hits 6 instead of just getting way too much ad.
