What do I do in this situation

-You can already tell you're about to go 0/6 in lane, the laner is clearly way better than you and you shouldn't be matched vs them. -They have already repeatedly dived you, if you walk into lane you're going to die no matter how safe you play.

Do you stay in lane and let them get farm and snowball off of kills from you, or leave lane to counterjungle safety and let them take your turret but not kill you?

You should have never let them get that many kills on you to begin with. Consider your lane lost when you go 0/2 and resign yourself to the fact that you have to play passively and farm whatever you can get at your turret. Your goal here is survive and keep getting xp till your team rescues you.

Your only other option is roam. Don't do that if turret first blood is still up for grabs unless you're confident your roam will get it for your team first.

They addressed that part already. With how little damage turrets do these days, for some people it's just honestly way too easy to dive and get a kill no matter how safe you're playing it. Even if you never leave tower unless you're just staying in creep wave close enough to get exp, the CS difference will be enough to ensure the other guy gets first or even second item waaaay before you do, which will make diving just that much easier.

Sometimes it just happens and there ain't much you can do about it.

Thats why you need to at least be trading to some extent when you take damage so that they aren't diving you when you're 25% health and they're 100% health.

If thats not possible you either need to play a different champion (because that one isn't working out), play a different role (support), or you just got hard counter picked.

Go to youtube type [champion name] vs. [champin name] [top/mid/bot/jungle] and look how people deal with the lane at high elo.

It's not that easy, have you ever gotten fed in your lane? Put yourself in the other person's shoes, you're the one engaging, you're the one starving them from cs and zoning them out of the exp range, you're the one that's just plain better at the game.

Consider your lane lost when you go 0/2 and resign yourself to the fact that you have to play passively and farm whatever you can get at your turret.

When people do that thing where they go right to the back of you're turret and kill the incoming minion wave, not even the back of the turret range is safe.

The second you realize the skill gap exists you just need to hug your tower and focus purely on cs, if you fall below 50% hp signal your jungler to come and hold your lane while you back and come back (buy resist if they are really bullying you). It's all about not dying, your team can help you deal with them mid/lategame and if you are 0-0-0 with a decent amount of farm + even XP you'll still be a huge threat
