There is a new build for all the sated kids... I tested it on a smurf and it i would say is 1.5x more dangerous than the old sated

If you made actual valid points people might not gang up on you, but jax is clearly in a terrible position right now. The only thing that was keeping his winrate where it was, was because of guinsous and sated. You say now his laning actually takes skill??? Tell me, what matchups toplane does jax win against? When should you pick jax when he gets outscaled by every tank top laner??? (Mao, Naut, Ekko, Gragas, malphite) Jax does outscale these champs after 40+ minutes, its too bad most games don't last that.

What's jax most known for? being a splitpushing menace. Guess what! Irelia and fiora do that only better! and they can handle these tanks wayyy better than jax can.

There is currently no reason to pick jax over another champ no matter what situation you're in. Go ahead and try to think of a situation that jax would be the best choice, il give you a champ that does it better.

I don't think we are saying 51% is OP but more that a riven main is complaining about another champ who is under preforming getting people asking for some kind of salvation for him just because the riven player does not like jax.

To be fair though, Jax with Sated Rageblade was oppressive as hell. No idea why his winrate was so low especially in the jungle. (Although, pretty much everything with sated + rageblade was oppressive so that might be it)

7.28% is right around the average play rate. This is based on slightly out dated info on champion.gg bit the first sorce I can think of with this kind of info. 7.69% play rate is the average based on 10 champions in a game resulting in 10 chances for a champ to be picked out of 130.

Please tell me again how "riven is not played"

She is not meta but she is still played and I still see her in some games.

And by all means hard to play champs should have a lower win rate especially at fewer games played. Riven has a higher win rate then jax at low games played.

Jax is under preforming currently.

I found jax to be just hair under powered since the 4.11 patch. Yes he was a little too strong before that but they should have done about half of the stat reduction in 4.11.

I do not view jax's performance for this season as the result of him being good but of items that riot did not properly consider the power of before adding. Now we are seeing the result of him not having anything that is effective enough to replace the cruch of sated + rageblade he had been using.

Jax was already struggling a bit once the tanks moved back up to top lane, he can deal with them later on in the game, but early game they have too much to stop his burst and they do damage. I haven't played since the patch because I've been busy with school. I don't mind him having a bad early game because of how strong he gets, but with how fast games are typically decided, it's really hard to be able to justify that risk/reward. I'm not sure what needs to be fixed about him, but I really don't think an item should determine whether he's broken or useless because that just seems silly to me.

Do I think Jax is balanced? No. The old Rageblade made him have way too big of a powercurve once he got it. Should he get buffs to his early game? Probably not, considering once he gets rolling if the Jax player is any good he'll be able to 2v1 against most matchups and just be split pushing all game.

Does he need a rework? Maybe. I don't think he needs a big overhaul like Sion or Taric.

Basically, I don't see buffs getting justified mostly just because his balance is currently tied around 1 item being really strong or not. I just don't know what you would be able to give him as a buff that would make him fair in the laning phase because of how strong he gets later on in the game.

I just love how Rito nerfed Jax, then nerfed all his items with no compensation.

Guinsoos should have kept its double stacking on melees, how the hell is Jax supposed to stack Guinsoos anywhere near as quickly or reliably as ranged cancer like Kayle / Vayne?

Jax has been one of my favorite champs for a long time, and I find it harder and harder to ever scale in. He gets absolutely destroyed in lane by 99% of ranged tops and a good portion of melee ones too. He's not even a bruiser anymore - just a mediocre Assassin because I have to rush 2-3 damage items to even have a chance of being useful because god knows I only have 1 jump and 1 chance to do something in a fight before getting kited to death.
