Kindred actually is decently unique if you think about
My first impressions were well, horrible. But thinking about it, sure not everything is brand new, but she does refresh a lot of older concepts too. First of all, finally another ranged jungler, because after TF got played once in EULCS, Trailblazer and soft leashes got nerfed. Plus her kit might seem overloaded, but now watching gameplay, it's pretty minor iterations.
Her passive is the only mark so far where the play can choose the champion that is the target. Plus, as an AD heavy jungler, she not only brings diversity by giving the jungle a strong AD carry, but this also in turn could strengthen assassins, the natural enemy of a marksman. Her Q may seem vaguely Vayne or Kalista like, but it doesn't do too much damage and also only has a good cooldown when paired with the W, which is on a hefty cooldown and also, similar to Ekko's W, shows the enemy where they shouldn't be, the only difference is that Ekko's effect is much harsher, but Kindred's is instant.
Her E is pretty minor in terms of CC. 1 second of 70% slow isn't going to exactly single handedly lock a target down. Her ult is pretty amazing, and very useful if used properly, but I like to think of it as a Bard ultimate almost, because it can help, but it can also screw you completely. My only worry here is that it can be used to troll pretty hard if they self-cast it and then they just stand near the enemy to keep them from dying, but I'd say it's way harder to troll with that than is for things such as Bard ultimate or even Anivia.
The actual design ingame while playing is amazing. Wolf and Lamb reflect off of each other so well, and they really project the Yin and Yang theme, especially with the way the dialogue is. Its almost like the personality of Kayle or Lux vs Aatrox or Darius. That's just a general idea of it though, both Wolf and Lamb have their own unique personalities, and you can really feel their relationship when they speak.
Overall I'd say a solid 8.5/10. Design and lore wise Kindred is definitely my favorite since Yasuo or maybe even Kha'Zix or Viktor. Gameplay wise Kindred is very strong, but kind of item reliant, which worries me with the current state of the jungle often getting little gold, especially if behind.
