Runic Echoes; Massive downgrade from Runeglaive

I was one of the people that thought Runic Echoes was going to be an upgrade to Runeglaive... I was horribly mistaken.

My clear speed decreased significantly (Damage to monsters decreased). My damage to champions decreased significantly. Even my sustain in jungle got a lot worse precisely because my damage decreased. My 's ability to assassinate is waaaay diminished because my power spike is not enough to overtake the gradual defensive increases of my enemies.... this is a big one because if my farming is worse and my assassination is worse, then I scale worse.... much worse. It's just garbage across the board, I was wrong to ever support Runic Echoes and I admit that.

The ONLY good thing about Runic Echoes is the movespeed which is nice, but absolutely everything else is a huge downgrade. Runeglaive was bad, Runic Echoes is much worse, gg.

At least its a buff to literally every other jungler except for elise and evelyn though. So many ap champs can now jg when they couldnt before. Its good

even on fiddle it´s worse than runeglaive actually...the procc just occurs way to rarly for it to be usefull in comparision.

That plus the damage is way lower.

Elise has had probably her worst clear ever up until this patch. Even when she had a 41% winrate her clear was better than it is now. If her clear is now worse with Runic Echoes than it was with Runeglaive, that is not good.

I'll have to try Elise sometime in the next couple days. I haven't played her since the patch went live.

I'd rather not make the actually good mage junglers unplayable just for the sake of making Zyra jungle slightly less terrible.

AP deserves good junglers, its enchant shouldn't exist solely to cater to meta-breaking hipsters. Especially given that mages that don't traditionally jungle have lanes to go to, while people like Elise, Eve and Nidalee don't.

I am also gutted by this change as jungle assassin AP eve is my favorite, but i guess we'll just have to adapt now, maybe lichbane is still ok??

as someone who likes to use AP junglers that don't like empowered auto attacks, I think its an upgrade

I've been loving Runic Echoes on Nidalee, moreso than Runeglaive since Riot took the AP off of Sheen.

If it sucks it'll get buffed - Runeglaive did when it was trash on release. Not tried it yet but intending to tomorrow with Elise.

Absolutely guarantee 100% that it will get buffed. It is such a massive downgrade.... I mean, it's not like there is a good tradeoff, literally the only plus to Runic Echoes is the movement speed but that 10% movement speed is a poor substitute for 10% CDR, 250 mana, general clear speed and assassination benefit.

In my opinion the way to fix this is; Have killing a Large Monster refresh Runic Echoes buff and boost the extra damage Runic Echoes does to Large monsters to at least 350%. That would bring it slightly closer to the level of power it should have.

I guess I will play a different jungler until this is changed.
