Why is everyone b*tching about mages?

Mages are still great. I still see a good variety of mages in games. I still see mages carrying games all the time, both in my own games and in high elo streams, fuck I even see mages going support and wrecking.

If anyone should be complaining it's non-assassin , non-shen tanks, non-massive defensive steroid tanks that enable them to play like the always have. , it's the fighters without defensive steroids.

I remember back in the day when beefy champs loved to eat cc, cause it ment your carries wasn't getting cc'd.

In new meta even frontlines are dodging CC like it's the goddamn matrix cause getting caught is a death sentence.

When was the last meta where mages were one-comboing tanks as they are doing now?
