She's a shell of what she used to be.

Changes to her, general gameplay, and items have stripped her of her pedestal to the point that the only people who still play her are dedicated and enjoy her for her fun playstyle, not her being an OP pick.

With that in mind. Stop instantly down voting posts people put up over genuine concern about her place in the game and possible buffs, or even just asking about how to play her.

Yes I play Riven before anyone asks. But how can the people on this boards be so stuck in the past that somehow Riven still is some horribly OP monster to them, meanwhile if you want an actual really broken "melee" carry, just take a look at Gangplank.

TLDR: Move on, she's in a fairly tough spot and people need to man up and admit it seriously. She's not perfect but she's not the 1v5 God anymore.

the reason riven is hated is because she's an obnoxious dashing piece of shit who you can put down in lane and then she just comes out of nowhere and deletes your adc out of existence because she just afk farmed side lanes for 10 minutes and got an xp and gold lead off of it.

i mean sure you could try chasing her but gl getting through four dashes on barely any cooldown

I downvote pro-Riven posts because people are trying to pretend that she's still this unplayable piece of shit champion who heals the enemy with her auto attacks and gives the enemy 300 gold as a basic ability.

She is not as strong as she was last season. Is she bad? No, not really. She's still high skill cap, and dedicated Riven mains are doing fine on her.

People hate riven because out of the last 100 rivens i played with, they all spam laugh or mastery 6 after getting a kill. Most rivens i played with go afk after losing lane. Most rivens i played with blame their jungler for ganks.

As a champion, riven only attracts 12 year old boys going through puberty.

The issue is when she gets a lead, then QdashQstunQknockupexecuteQQQQQQQQQQQQQQ I seriously wish I could cancel as many animations as that bimbo

Poppy has a lower winrate and lower playrate.

Riven is sittin pretty with a 50% winrate and 10% playrate Poppy is at 48% winrate and 2% playrate.

I think at this point nobody cares because Riven was a top tier champion in top lane for seasons (pural) and has only recently fallen off due to her much needed nerfs.

OTHER CHAMPIONS need it more. Much more. Riven isn't even in a bad spot.

Actual Renek is one of the easier match ups.

Personally I have issues with Cho in lane or silences in general.
