Am I the only one who realizes that GP is WAY more broken than anyone perceives Yasuo to be, and as a "melee" carry his primary form of damage dealing is ranged barrel procs. So he gets all the benefits and stats and built in safeties of being a melee, while having none of the actual risk once he hits mid/late game? Not only that but he can just safely farm his way there and pretty much chose to not interact with his laner as much as he wants to?

Does no one else think that him one shotting entire clusters of people with one barrel in the lategame is completely undeserved for his safety at all?

No because Gp doesn't have infinite dashes and knockups.

Yeah, who needs to actually move around and maneuver inside a teamfight when you just barrel nuke it from 10 yards away.

Yasuo has this mobility because he HAS to go in. Guess what champ doesn't.

guess what champion also has obvious counterplay (aka killing the barrel) along with a fairly long CD on being able to set them up.

Except you know, in the mid and late game when he's chaining them together in such a way that you literally cannot respond to the barrel dropping literally on your face as it explodes.

Also you go ahead and focus those barrels in team-fights, that'll turn out real well after their other sources of damage punish you for taking your DPS off of them.

But Yas doesn't have infinite knockups... He has a knockup that you have to stack in melee range that you have to restack if you miss.

To be fair, you can stack it on minions, but that's pretty predictable when he does it.

gp doesn't "outplay" you, he just out damages/tanks you and that's that.

Yasuo has to outplay you to do well

People can't admit they suck dick and that the yasuo is just a better player than them

When you get rekt by a gp it doesn't feel this way

Fun fact, Yas has over a 50% win rate. For someone who you state is "Better than you" and is one of the highest skill cap champs to date, it SHOULD NOT be that high. That means he IS stupidly strong right now.

As for OP and the topic of GP. GP has a garbage early game, he needs 2 items to do anything, get jungle to camp his lane, Congrats he's useless till 30 minutes+. The only time I ever have issues with GP is if the top laner is having some bad games or the ELO matchups are bad, or the jungler doesn't camp and GP free farms the wave from distance. Other than that, he's like Vayne and that he needs stupid amounts of farm and gold to be effective. Yasuo only needs a static and IE and he can 2 shot someone. not to mention Yas counters GP....
