Am I Right to be Disappointed?

I play one ranked game a day, Tuesday - Thursday because I'm told - A. you're more likely to win your first game of the day, and B. because the weekends are a nightmare.

Last night I hop on and play a game. We get to the loading screen and not one of my allies has a Mastery ribbon - not one of them. We ended up losing, and a large part of me feels like it's because they chose champs they thought would be "fun" and weren't there to win.

I'm still so pissed people think this is acceptable. And the only reason it keeps happening is because there are zero repercussions.

I see your point and I know how you feel. I personally wont take a champ into ranked until I'm confident and have a level 3 - 4 mastery. But at the end of the day, people can pick whatever they want.

What I find concerning about that is if you "intentionally feed" then it's punishable. But statistically, picking a champ you've played less than X number of times is not so far from asking to feed. I mean, Riot cannot determine will, so it attempts to asses intent by reviewing how people died? Or that they didn't hug?

I'd be fine with things if the Intentionally Feeding report carried more weight on champs you had less experience with.
