@Meddler, Can you tell us riot stants on Cassiopia?
I know riot put of a survey recently asking if she is unique. I just want to know if riot thinks she is in a good spot now?

Still evaluating. Initial feedback was extremely power focused, which was very understandable given how weak she was. That's delayed our ability to see how the mechanics changes (giving her the Grounded effect, decoupling E CD from poison state etc) affect her playstyle and game health.
Regarding the survey that's something we run for every new champion and champion update after they get released, plus we'll occasionally gather sentiment on the rest of the champion roster as well.
The grounded effect has felt a lot less useful to me ever since the stop on terrain was removed. I get that in some situations it was frustrating, but It really helped lock out a whole section of wall from flashes, which seems to be the intended use of the Grounded debuff.

I think miasma's a lot stronger now. It also has a pretty large band of ranges you can use it at so it isn't hard to throw it at whatever range you need to stop flashing over a wall.
Although I thought the wall thing was more interesting and was kinda sad to discover Riot went with that buff.
It was interesting but it just didn't work. If you put the zone up against a wall, half of it is in the terrain. Some melee champions could hit you from outside the zone while you hugged the wall.

I would prefer simply widening the AoE only when it collided with the wall, as if it stopped a small distance before colliding with the wall without actually increasing the hitbox size of the wall.
for me its much better now, you can W over a wall or tower.

I agree it's better, I just wish it had been made better in a different way.
in what way?
in what way?
lower cooldown, bigger AoE (wider arc or thicker band), more damage or duration, stronger slow, granting vision in bushes, just buffing a different part of her kit, really anything at all. I liked thinking about the restriction of the ability stopping on terrain and how that affected where I wanted to cast it.
the problem to me lies that her shift in power is too hard to handle as of now. her e does barely any damage unless they are poisoned, and even when you poison the enemy it doesn't feel any better than the previous e, I feel like it's not even worth pressing the button. she doesn't seem to have a good matchup, she's always out damaged out ranged or out maneuvered.

Here's where you're finally understanding what it was like to see Cassiopeia after the Shurima rework. Pre-Shurima, her power was loaded into her kit as a whole, with E being general cleanup for poisoned foes, though some did use it as their bread and butter. Flash to post Shurima with that abysmal Aspect passive and now her poisons do absolutely nothing but set up E. People new to her, and the people who enjoyed the E focused playstyle before liked that rework, despite the power gating and major flaws. However, people who enjoyed using her poisons were screwed over because they were no longer an offensive viability to her kit anymore. And then we flash forward again to the MYMU, where E has been gutted and the overloaded fluff that was added in Shurima was canned and the old passive was scrapped so that the rest of her kit could breathe and come out from behind the overbearing nature of that bloated Twin Fangs. Her poisons now are actually dangerous if you land them, and it's entirely possible to whittle down opponents without pressing E. E is still powerful, but the power is locked behind poisons, which is the entire intention of the power, as a follow up to poisoning a foe, so I can't quite understand why people are upset that you have to hit poisoned foes to deal the most damage with E. Her overall flaws, such as range and landing skill shots have always been crippling flaws for her, and nothing has changed in that regard.
Personally, I don’t like her new W. The grounded effect is cool, but the cast pattern is seriously a pain. I would much rather have the old W cast with the new effects.

She is.
