Any Rioter have a valid reason why a tank with inescapable amounts of cc has easily 1500+ damage off one rotation in the midgame with no damage amplifying items?

totally avoidable, totally because he was "fed"
"inescapable"? His ultimate is his only non-situation form of CC. His E requires terrain to function.
1500 in one rotation implies that he had a sheen item and was brittle clapping you between his abilities, which would also imply it occured over at least 10 seconds.
Because you had only one defense item, he was fed, had several levels on you, and are naturally squishy.
You got caught out as an ADC by an enemy two levels above you, and you didn't.

Were you behind? Was he ahead? Did he have dragon/baron buffs? Were you full hp? What was your build/champion? What were his runes?
There are too many elements to factor in to throw out a question like this with no evidence. A clip or screenshot of the kill and his build (as well as yours) would better support your complaint.
Ornn’s damage can be avoided as well. You can root/disable him during his ult to shut it down, and his other moves are all pretty easy to dodge.

If you go from the moment of knockup, Orrn spend a solid 5 seconds glued to your ass, didn't miss any skills, and unloaded everything but his ulti.
He had a 2 level advantage, abyssal mask, and iceborn. So a solid set of items to hurt with.
In 5 seconds, he did 75% of a behind Caitlyn's HP. That's really not unreasonable, considering he basically fuck combo'd you from beginning to end.
What do you people want? Tanks can't function of their attacks are equivalent to a gentle breeze ruffling your hair. They have to actually BE dangerous, dude.
