When will riot admit they made mistake with Pyke as champion ?

after his last changes and he start to work better than most of assassin with free sustain and CC , got amazing win rate in mid lane and yet we still want to call him "SUPPORT"

Legit i don't know why it so hard for people to come out and admit they made mistakes with champions, but right that is riot a company that was the reason we got that toxic reworked champions that got high banned rate yet they didn't give them any true nerf so far like while releasing champions like and in same year that is super toxic to deal with. Thank god, they gutted Zoe for now. Yes i know it so hard to admit you made mistakes, after all you guys letting as champion running around.

Pyke is overall good for the game(this coming from someone who hates pyke). He encourages more people to play support. He does need minor tweaking here and there due to the nature of his passive but thats about it.

We are MASSIVELY changing masteries for LITERALY AND I MEAN FKING LITERALY 10TH TIME (10th time the charm) OHHHH And We decided to Embrace the ghostcrawler idea in which** melee champions should bend over**, now ranged champions can damage towers for free gold from range, also towers stay on map longer, also they do more damage, NONE of this changes clearly fks up melee champions NONEEEE REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, but despite that comunity ll keep asking for more tower damage

Any high elo with fking braincells already knows that we ll enter Ranged only meta very soon so GOOD JOB GHOSTCRAWLER keep ruining games or whoever the fk is in charge now aint any better

I don't think Riot has released a single healthy champ this season, whether it be rework or completely new Well Nunu is fine and they fixed Aatrox so he's no longer extremely unhealthy But Kaisa Pyke Irelia and Akali are just absurd Although I think Pyke isn't as bad as the rest, His ult and passive are too much but that's is Kai'sa is almost impossible to build against and we all know about Akali and Irelia

Ezreal new W also does far too much in my opinion, But that's about it More damage is the one thing i don't want

Ezreal W just giving him extra damage on towers that not needed mostly and he able to build tanky while poke down anyone with his w is stupid as well. But yah seem like there no good release aside from nunu rework as i said before.

I've seen Ezreal hit me at level two with his W and Q and it chunked like all hell, But at least i don't see him played often Also i forgot to mention Swain, I honestly think he's pretty good too, I mean yeah he was really unhealthy when first reworked (especially with electrocute), immediately starting at S tier and becoming meta for some time But then they toned him down and now he's around B tier and his play rate has gone down He's much better than he was before

Although his pull can be rather annoying it's not too much of a big deal

Agree to disagree. I played Kindred and popped off several kills on an Akali today, which I typically wouldn't expect. And Puke can be annoying for sure, but you start to see his patterns and now how to counter. You dodge his grab and watch out when you hear spooky music and see his little circle around you and if you play careful he shouldn't get much of a lead. Personally I'd say Master Yi is my biggest concern as a champ right now lmao.

As a person who mains support, being garbage at this game(climbed from bronze alone and stopping at silver 5 with awful adc patch 8.12(?)), I can easily tell:

Pyke is not cancerous.

After recent changes to his ultimate and forcing players to play lethality he became a champion more balanced. He used to have literally no point at which he was weak, and in late game he basically could rush into teamfight without care in the world about survival. Now, pyke's problem is early. If one dies 2 times or more in first ten minutes, you get level disadvantage - which, on most enemy botlane combinations, renders him and his ultimate useless. Even half of an item disadvantage makes major changes to the way this champion is played. It's just like Katarina - you fail early, you're useless.

Another thing to look at is the way supports are ought to be played as counterpicks. Since I played him a bit already, there are none at my level - people are just too bad to think of warding bushes or even flashing away with a big X under their feet. I started to play quite a lot with friends with higher gold mmr's, making me quite often stand against supports and adc's out of my skill level. Then, you can find a good Morgana or Janna that know how to make your life hard, and simply forcing you to play passively, with small pokes from time to time.

Yet another subject are his items - pyke starts to be useful(after the anti-tank rework) after building item 3134 with item 3117 . Then the lethality ratios kick in, making enemies underestimate your burst - leaving enemy adc shocked and... usually dead. But if you fail to make a kill at this crucial part, you will lose the advantage of getting in whenever you like - due to massive poke compared to yours later on.

What's the conclusion?

Pyke is unbalanced if it comes to reward? No - it's high risk high reward champion. Is he an assassin with too much mobility? Only if you let him kill you few times. Just like any other assassin.

Maybe you should just learn how to adapt to the game as it changes. Any champion can be OP if it is played right. Any champion can be shit if played wrong. Yasuo and Pyke are literally my least favorite champs to play against but I'm not gonna go whining on forum posts just cause I lose against them once in a while. I've seen plenty of Pykes feed their ass off and be completely useless. This game is going to always be changing for the better or for the worse. Better than being stagnant. I don't even bother reading patch notes cause the moment a champ becomes op, people are gonna abuse it and then riot is gonna change it. That's how it has always been and always will. Just ban Pyke or play smart and play a champ that counters him.

I just hate his Execute threshold scaling with Lethality. The point of lethality is that its counter is armor, but building heavily on armor means less health, which means the execute kills 1/3 health tanks.
