Mathcmaking is BS for promo games

Ok, so I'm against Plat 1 - Plat 2 on my G1 account because of my MMR (60% winrate account) so I fail Plat promos. This is actually retarded. I've even had the occasional D5. I get that the games are made more balanced because of my MMR but it's completely idiotic that it won't let me get to Plat. because I'm basically playing at mid-high Plat MMR level instead of facing Plat 5-Plat4 like if my MMR was normal. The same stupid shit happened when I was in Placements from S1 to G5. I was playing against Gold 2s and Gold 3s. This basically means not even Riot's own matchamking gives a shit about you having an accurate tier. You should not need to beat G2-G3 average players when promoting from Silver to Gold.

Agree. If I am so much better than other Bronze 2, let me queue with them, let me win, then let me get to a new tier. Then I will even out in the right tier instead of having me be bronze 2 vs Silver 1 lane opponent.

I hate to say there is a difference. But there is. Especially when the entire other team is high silver.

so the matchmaking is bs because it's pitting you against people your skill level instead of people that are less skilled than you so you can stomp them?

If it is calling me low tier, when really I am mid tier then yes.

I am expected to raise up to mid tier, except I am playing vs people who at best I should win 50/50 on. Sounds like if I wanted to get to mid tier, I should be playing people I can beat until I keep going into rank until I hit the same level opponents and hit 50/50 and slowly rise.

Like if I beat some "Golds" then it is stupid for me to stay ranked in bronze. Even if those gold people don't deserve that rank, or if I deserve a better rank. What does it matter for me.

No, it's BS because it keeps me artificially under Plat. in designation while pairing me against mid-high Plat.

It's BS because it should only be putting you against those equally skilled players between promos, where you advance more quickly against harder opponents since the system wants you to have a 50% win rate. When you reach promos, you should only be playing against people with MMR in the division you're trying to leave/reach.
