To be honest, i don't see much didfference for a vayne vs melee 1v1. If anything, some assasins will have a better chance since her crit-burst is nerfed so squishys willa ctually survive longer against her than befor and have a chance of bursting her. Beffy melees alway got kited to hell and back, a few less sek till they die hardly makes a difference for them.

It's easy to kill Vayne as a melee. I do it all the time. You just need to get better at stealing kills from your ranged allies. ;P

less than 10% of all champions can dodge anything of hers. You can't really outplay her, there is nothing to outplay. You either kill her or you don't.

Fool of a took. You can't dodge her condemn, it's a targeted ability! There is no possible way to dodge a targeted ability.

You're supposed to control ward it so the ward blocks the condemn for you.

Although while you can't dodge it, you CAN be immune to it. Some champs have displacement immunity while using certain abilities... or you could have a banshee's veil/spell shield. Sure, you take the damage, but you're still in her face.

Or just buy veil? That's what I do and it works very well. Also qss and using a movement spell cancel the knockback as well.

I actually have no problem with Vaynes. Mostly cuz you can one shot them pretty reliably.

You don't really need any real counterplay to Condemn tbh cuz it's pretty much her only saving grace aside from ult but only if she times the stealth right and typically, that's never.

The point is basically that there's a lot of answers to Vayne, and the buffs that are out there aren't earth-shattering. The nerfs to her kit have far more impact. Removing the bonus damage Q crit ability drops Vayne's burst significantly, and brings her back in line with what she's supposed to be -- a tank shredder.

A heal on her ult that might work once or twice in an entire game? Meh. Two percent more silver bolt damage at max? Ok, if you're a 5k hp tank that's 100 hp after three hits more than you took before. Your mid or bot laner isn't getting bursted in two hits from Q + R + Shiv 1400 damage crits now. IMO that more than makes up for it.

summoner 4 (or any other blink) can negate lost ground if you position so you don't get stunned. item 3814 item 3102 screw Vayne out of Condemn if nobody else pops the shield, since Condemn is her only ability that does anything to spellshields. CCing her will stop her from condemning if she doesn't have QSS yet. If you have two people gunning for her, she can't condemn both of you. If you force it out of her, she can't use it for a while, so you can abuse that window. item 3140 summoner 4 (if you have fast fingers+reactions) can be used in combination to remove the knockback after it's already hit you. Works with quite a few blinks/dashes. Untargetability, projectile destruction, CC immunity, and stasis can all negate it (though using zhonyas while chasing is... questionable)

Practically? No. Possibly? Yes.

Knockup effects have two parts, Airborne and a stun. Airborne means that they are being sent to a specified location (for knockups, it's usually the same place they were initially, but for knockbacks they are sent to the end location). Knockbacks typically have a very short duration, but they are classified the same as knockups.

QSS cannot cleanse the airborne effect, but you CAN cleanse the attached stun. QSSing an airborne effect will allow you to use certain forced movement spells (including Flash and Tumble) to override the forced motion from the airborne effect, allowing you to cleanse any knockup/knockback.

It's nearly impossible to pull off on knockbacks, due to their short durations, but they're very feasible for knockups.

If we only talk about winning the 1v1, the R changes are irrelevant as it's only after kill. Remains only the q nerf and the slight true damage buff. Don't see a lot of difference with previous patch vayne

She is a weird adc and can kill assassins though. If they dont blow her up in 1 seconds, she usually can e them away and is at full life by the time they get nbext to her again.

After the patch? She doesn't have her Q-crit burst anymore, so she has to buy herself quite a bit more time in order to win a fight.

Actually vayne has the most counterplay because you can dodge or her true dmg by not going near her or playing dead, oh wait you cant dodge her true dmg. Its ok just kill her first guys she is squishy.

Killing 7.17 Vayne. At least they can be behind and you can outskill them. With the lottery it is PURE chance. WIth killing 7.17 Vayne, it's still somewhat skill based.
