A well-stacked Nasus curbstomps Jax in a 1v1 and wither peels him hard in team fights.

Some of my tips might quite no work due to virtue of Jax being straight up overpowered right now, but once he gets toned down this advice might help.

1: Dueling him is suicide. Unless your incredibly far ahead, a mid-late Jax will demolish anyone in a 1v1. Much of how to deal with a Jax also can apply to a lot of splitpushers, and if his dueling is what troubles you I recommend looking at guides on how to deal with splitpusher's in general (I remember Dong Huap's guide on how to deal with Nasus being helpful)

2: His teamfighting is... iffy. Let the purple bastard anywhere close to your squishies, they'll get shrecked. However like with some medicine, prevention is a cure. Kite/Peel based mechanics are essential to a team trying to deal with a Jax, as you negate his damage completely by not giving him any safe opportunity to jump in. Even if you cant 100% prevent him from jumping, try to create scenarios where doing so is dangerous. For example, even if a Leona or Maokai can't immediately prevent him from jumping on your Jinx, their lockdown could punish Jax for trying to jump in.

3: Pay attention to Jax's build. Many people are building this guy near full damage with Guinsoos, Triforce, and Gunblade. If they do this glass cannon build, be especially careful to prevent Jax from getting to your squishies (As he will instagibb them and heal off their pain). If you can do this, then the build will fail him in terms of tank stats, meaning you might be able to straight up kill him. If he goes a bit tankier for teamfights, see if you can focus your damage on his squishies while still being weary of his attempts at backline dives

4: Play him. If you want, try to learn Jax and analyze what gives you problems. You don't have to master him, just get a basic idea of what its like to play the guy and get a feel for his limitations.

I hope this was helpful. Even though Jax is one of my mains, I will admit the guy is a pain in the ass to deal with. Also sorry about the brick wall of text "Imagine if I had a real weapon...like in most of my skins" -Purple Man
