Jungling is dead for me

It used to just be that you'd sometimes get blamed for no reason, but mute fixes that, but now...

Playing a tank without massive AoE damage (Rammus, Shen): Have fun spending 15 minutes clearing your second camp (Starting gromp with a leash from bot lane and going to blue, I used smite on gromp for passive and even with both pots I couldn't finish blue buff as Rammus). I don't think it makes any sense that Riot put work into making tank junglers more viable with quill coat in season 4 and then just going "lol jk" and killing tanks again (other than ones with decent AoE or damage based on their hp like Sej and Zac).

With longer respawns farming camps will give way less gold and xp, so if you can't get off good ganks early you can fall behind laners by 3 or 4 levels, making you unable to 1v1... ever...

To add to the above if you get counter jungled or invaded especially early on you will fall further behind and barely be able to gank without the laner just killing you.

Every game now you literally only see Lee Sin and J4, because they're some of the few junglers still decent. Don't get me wrong, I like playing both, but if you're playing Skarner and Lee Sin decides to pay a visit to you in your jungle, you're boned.

Right now the current jungle meta literally punishes support junglers while also encouraging carry junglers with more powerful jungler items. Because of poor clear, many support junglers (with some exceptions such as Nunu and Maokai) are forced into taking Trailblazer and will still have issues clearing if the smite if off cooldown (on Rammus I literally will use my ult to clear camps). Meanwhile J4 gets a bonus slow during ganks.

It's ironic really, since originally they wanted to push more towards having tanky support jungles return to the meta like s3. The issue is that they made a jungle that would suit tank junglers really well, except for the fact that they forgot that they nerfed almost every good tank junglier since the last time they were strong. Buff skarner, buff Rammus, buff all the tank jungles, and hey presto, you might actually end up with some of them being viable. Riot made a cure for the meta, but then forgot to give the patients the appropriate treatment.

Still wondering why they nerfed the hell out of Rammus and Mumu at the very day the new jungle was introduced - without further testing how they would've performed in the new jungle in their original state.

you fall way behind if your against any of the jungle champs you listed and are boned if you get caught out against a laning champ.

I'm not sure why you named Shen, he was NEVER good at jungling.

And in all honesty, if you're losing duels to Lee as Skarner, then its probably more on you as a player. Assuming he didn't catch you at extremely low health anyway, because in that case it doesn't matter what you or he was.

I play XinZhao jungle and I frequently find myself 3 or 4 levels behind. If I roam for a gank and succeed I am taking kills from my laners, preventing them for snowballing. If I roam for a gank and do not succeed I continue to fall behind. It sucks.

And he's one of the better junglers atm.....

He is one of the best junglers. In fact, the only champion that could think of fighting back against him in the early game is Lee Sin. When he gets a good opportunity to gank most of the time it's a first blood his way.

Playing a tank without massive AoE damage (Rammus, Shen)

How in anyway does Shen have massive AoE dmg?

QuantumLight1 votes

plz read things you dont understand twice so people like me dont have to correct you.

Shen doesn't have massive AOE damage, and thats what hes saying.

...but he put it next to Rammus, who does have pretty solid AoE dmg. He's got more than Lee Sin at least

SO he mentions Shen and Rammus, now Shen doesn'T have aoe, while rammus has 2, so which one did he want to mention? Sure he can make valid points but then first either have the english "skillz mastured" or just thematically split what he wants to say.

Playing a tank without massive AoE damage (Rammus, Shen):

Shen

Cuz Shen deals so much AOE damage to creepcamps...

QuantumLight1 votes

Thats his point... Shen doesnt have much AOE damage...

killd0zer1 votes

His point was shitty then because he stated Rammus as a jungler without AoE dmg. Xin is strong Atm and he is mostly single target. Lee has always been strong and all he has is E, which you don't usually max
