PSA: if you cry to your jungler to gank an Akali you are legally obligated to have a pink ready

If you are already 0-2 v Akali, ganking without a pink not only can mean she has very easy time escaping, she can turn on you and kill you.

No sweepers don't help that much in most matchups, she is still untargetable.

So if you didn't bother to buy a pink, obviously your jungler isn't coming until they base and get a pink, which might take some time because they have other work to do and can't just base anytime.

And that's if they are a really nice person. If they ignore you until you get a pink yourself, honestly no one can blame them for that. You act like dum bich, you gon be treated like one.

Especially applies to players.

Idk what elo you're in but usually multiple players will have pinks ready for Akali. Even when I play Lee sin I still buy pinks.

Not sure why players in your games don't buy oinks vs akali. It shuts her down hard.

If you have CC on both sides, you can kill Akali without a pink. I guess that all depends on the lead Akali has on you and the execution of a gank.

If the Jungler doesn't buy a pink and just gank the Akali with their own initiative they are doing something wrong. Don't pin this on the laners. Buy a damn pink ward yourself.

Im in agreement with this, I buy pinks but im not gonna waste the 1 pink i can place to ward someones lane unless they've ward my jungle with a pink. In this case is the lanes responsibility to buy a pink himself so the jg can gank, hell they should be warding anyway.

You're not wrong at all, but it isn't about responsibility and who is right. It's about winning. The laner should absolutely be the one to buy a pink, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter who bought it. It just matters that it's bought. If they aren't buying it you need to. You shouldn't have to, but you do.

I've had to buy executioners calling on Soraka before because they had a lot of healing on the other team and my team refused to buy one.

You're not that impressive a jungler main if you'd rather use your pink wards in a lane when you have the most access to the map to place vision. This IS to be pinned on the laner. If they can't shut down Akali themselves, they need to at least buy items to deal with her. Your pink wards are much more useful placed to check for enemy wards, objectives, and roaming paths.

Yeah this is incorrect. If you aren't always holding pinks (before full build of course) as a Jungler when you are facing a temporary stealth champ, you are hurting your chances of winning. What if you gank bot and the enemy Akali is there, or TPs in? What if the Akali shows up in your jungle? Or ganks mid when you are there? "Too bad guys, you should have bought a pink :)"

No. Take initiative. If you want to be a low elo jungler with a sub-50% winrate on your main forever be my guest, but don't spread bad information.

If you are playing vs an Akali (especially top lane) just camp their lane, always having a pink in your inventory to gank them with. It's her only escape mechanic and without it she is a sitting duck. She doesn't have any CC in her kit outside of her W's small slow, no mobility outside of her Ult which she can't use on her own minions, and really nothing else to do but attempt to 1v2 you. And that's what you want in an opposing lane, someone who can't escape and is a 1v1 assassin who can be easily killed 2v1.

But hey if you want to just keep your 'pride' and blame others, that's your problem. If you want to act like you are playing perfectly, stay delusional. Like I said, just don't spread bad information.

lol Akali is only invisible in her twilight shroud so a item 3364 in the circle of her twilight shroud would make her visible and therefore you are "targeting " an area the only thing you have to concern is if she is near bushes or walls and uses summoner 4 from her twilight shroud to escape.

She gets a speed boost and you get a slow too though so she could escape pretty easily if she throws it down when she sees the gank coming. Unless she's low HP. The reason pink wards work is because you can attack her while she's running away, unlike the red trinket. Unless you have skillshots, but that might not be enough damage in time, especially if you cant even autoattack

Yes, but those trinkets do not make her target-able. it shows where she is, but doesn't make her target-able in her W.

Yes... that's the problem. When she is in her shroud she is invisible so you buy a pink ward. That let's you attack her. Red trinket doesn't let you attack her. Pink ward gives vision. Red trinket just shows you their outline. If you use a red trinket, you can't use abilities such as Veigar's ultimate or autoattack them.

maybe not but i was but im unranked and i was vs a diamond akali , my ass still hurts. however she wasnt an assclown, gave me pointers, cuz i didnt rage or quit , i made a decent come back and was effective in team fights. but come on riot why am i vs a diamond in a normal game, fml.

I usually buy pinks as a jungler for warding my buffs (SCREW YOU SHACOOOOSSSS) but as a mid laner you should have a pink in any invis matchup, Also note this applys to Vayne post 6 ganks.

I played a Nasus into an Akali top lane. I was able to farm for the most part, although her Q felt like Zed Q's just point and click. Once after about 150 stacks(I measure Nasus games by stacks, so roughly 10 mins in) I backed, bought 2 pinks, and some mr. When that Akali jumped me, I had enough of her shit, and just went ham on her ass, dropping pink when she popped smoke. I swear, I could've felt the "Oh shit" when that Akali finally noticed that I bought pink wards. It felt really satisfying to get some stacks off of her after her Q harass.

I mean when I jungle I sometimes have a pink on me for those situations, sure the laner should think abt getting a pink, but the jungler could also help out, it is a team game after all.

It only sucks late game when you have no inventory space to deal with them .-. I had to sell my boots to have a space just to deal with shaco. Forgot to get item 3364 game was stupid long but we won :D
