Hey look, I was right about Ezreal.

Can we just remove the "applies on-hit effects" part of Ezreal's Q?

I said outright the next time Riot introduced a strong new on-hit Ezreal would break it instantly. I got downvoted and told to "stop blaming Ezreal." Riot introduces Kleptomancy. What happens? Ezreal breaks immediately. They NEED to remove his Q's ability to apply on-hit effects. Otherwise this will just keep happening. Over and over. This is the 4th or 5th time now Ezreal (specifically EZREAL AND HIS Q, no other Champions) has completely broken an on-hit effect. And he'll keep doing it until they take that ability away.

The thing is though, it's not really that broken of an ability on Ez. Kleptomancy is just a small bonus compared to the perks of Iceborn Gauntlet, Runeglaive, and every other item that was broken due to his Q.

I kinda agree but kinda don't. It's obnoxiously strong not because it does damage, but because it lets him rush the other things that he uses his Q to throw at people. It's really strong no GP too, but at least GP has the decency to be melee and not have a blink.

Props to GP^

I see where you're coming from on this, but you've gotta factor in the odds of you actually hitting the q. It is a skillshot after all. While it may be strong as heck, you're gonna have to be pretty good to hit it consistently. If you ask me, Kleptomancy is the most broken on Sona Strong poke without damage items, mana hungry, killer if she builds BichLane. Plus all of her basic spells are auto-target. Not only is she likely to poke you to hell, she's getting free mana, health, MORE gold from klepto and item 3303 , and she's helping her adc by doing it.

Ezreal's got the damage and some late game potential, but his low pickrate is what's gonna keep him down due to the skill cap.

I was with you right up until this part. He's the highest pickrate in the game at 33% and climbing and absolutely does not have a high skill cap at all due to just how safe he is. You don't have to land every q when it only takes 2-3 to kill people and it has 1000 range and no cd.

Well it's not as broken as dark harvest

Oh wait he's breaking that too [slayer-jinx-unamused]

But then again so is literally any champion who takes dark harvest^

Oh hey look you were actually wrong and the problem stems from a bug on his Q that is applying muramana twice on his Q hits

So cute when people pretend they know things

That explains why he's crazy strong from the moment the game starts, way before he has Muramana right? [sg-lulu]

Except Ezreal isn't really breaking Kleptomancy more than any other champion. They made a change to On-Hit effect spells like Ezreal's Mystic Shot and Gangplank's Parrrley to also apply Spell Effects. This lets Ezreal trigger Muramana twice per Q. This is a huge buff to his damage, especially mid game, and I imagine that this has a lot more to do with it than anything else.

Well, that still ties directly in to his Q applying on-hit effects, so my point is still valid.
