Ok, im convinced using this champ just feels like cheating lol.

I used him 9 times today and my only loss was a game were my power went out for like 10 minutes and by time i got back on my team surrendered and i got charged with a leave. I was mastery level 5 this morning and just made it to mastery level 7 by getting S grades 5 out of those 8 games that finished. By far the quickest to level 7 of all my champs..only took 35 games. This guy is so simple to use and seems so overpowered.

Yeah he's extremely strong against bad players, but once you actually play against people who have a vague grasp at what they're doing his potential drops

Garen is basically a gimped version of Darius currently. He would only be OP in very low level play where nobody knows how to counter him (extremely easy). He has a rework inbound eventually.

I completely disagree with that. His Q helps him get around the map so fast........after getting my turret i run mid , push that...then roill back top and push that some more......meet up with team for a fight then quickly run to another lane to push some more.

Hell the distraction alone helps team because other team is going to be trying to keep up with you while u move from lane to lane.

Late game wise yeah he can split push and run around but while Garen is doing that the enemy team will just focus on the 1 less member team and fight them without their tank to help once their cleared up they can push harder as 5 than Garen alone.

Not saying your wrong or what have you as everyone faces different types of players etc but just saying my own personal exp against Garen.

Hasnt been true ever since his rework. Esepcially the ''good in lane'' part, tons of champions can fight him in lane now.

Indeed, I'm not saying who ever is facing Garen lost lane phase and needs to farm under tower and give up on the Lane but it's a stronger phase for Garen compared to teamfights or past the lane phase is all.

Garen is a good champ for bads and against bads, but that's about it

his stats need to be WAY over the top for him to be a presence later in the game

Garen is a low elo champ. Once you get to gold it becomes increasingly hard to keep winning games since he depends on enemy bad decissions to be effective
