Can I just build items other than boots on Jhin?
Many items give movement speed and his passive give it on crits too. So could I run a build like 
without getting boots and still be successful, or are boots really that necessary?

Zone of Endless2 votesYou usually can for late game. The flat movement speed boot give is pretty important for early/mid game kiting and moving around the map in general
Hullabaloo9071 votesSeperate things. Your build really should have a last whisper instead of a ghostblade most of the time, and life steal is pretty important.
