Ally and enemy junglers in my games make this mistake so often and I thought I would put it out there.
When you hit the skrying orb, the enemy can see that and it is telegraphing your location; alerting the enemy of your gank.

Darkdemon6533 votesI'm going to assume you mean the scryer's bloom. The reason junglers use it before ganking is because it reveals wards. If there is a ward, the jungler can either clear the ward, or simply continue jungling so they don't waste any time. It also shows if the enemy jungler is there.

Just hit the cone so the other lane doesnt see it

Hitting the bloom is a decision to not gank and instead
Using the bloom then proceeding to gank the wardless lane anyways is a waste. I know you're coming. You've also told the enemy team where you are, so their jungler can make a play on the opposite side of the map.

Pretty sure you see the sparkles regardless. They show on the map whether vision is there or not.
