How come Trist

Lanes like Caitlyn, but scales like Jinx? How is this fair? As much as I hate Lucian's early game and Vayne's late game, at least they're weak at some point, wtf is Trist?

She has no AS without her active. You can fight her when it is down during laning. Or when she uses her E, walk back and reengage while it is down. Because of her E, she pushes non-stop and gets ganked and her jump is as easy to interrupt as Aatrox's Q.

She has a super escape, in her W, plus flash, so fighting her when she doesn't want to fight is hard as hell. The only way I even kill a Trist is if she jumps in and loses after going in, or you get her with a really good gank. She or your jungler literally decides her own fate, the bot laners have no say whatsoever. Plus she'll outscale you on top of that.

Tristana gets outscaled post rework. They nerfed her AS and range and gave her better push.

I never said she had no counter play in terms of fighting her, which is exactly why your post is irrelevant to mine. All I said was that she is top tier at every stage of the game, which is not fair.

Stop dodging the question and answer why she can out damage a champ like Jinx in lane, while being super safe, then still compete with her damage late game, while still being twice as safe?

And he did not write that you said so. He only gave you advice as you probably do not know how to play against her.

If in your matches she got fed, she certainly was strong throughout the match. I checked your match history and noticed that you often play Jinx that is countered by Tristana, you use her in your arguments. You can't just complain about Trist out damaging you just because it's your counter, you can't play against her, she was fed or lost to her. Her E is the only skill that deals relevant damage from her basic skills and she is rewarded for a longer battle time. Her damage can be negated easily by just not fighting her.

in lane, while being super safe

She's not that safe. At early she has range of a casual adc. I would agree with the term "supersafe" if the range of the AA was more than caitlyn's. Trist has her W on long cooldown and it costs lots of mana (compared to her amounts of mana at early, 247 at level 1) and can be easily interrupted by CC, sadly Jinx doesn't have one (I didn't count her E because it's pretty hard to land), so tell your support to pick champ with CC. At early after 2 uses of her W+E she's out of mana. And that's her combo, because she relies on her E. She doesn't jump without putting E on you.

then still compete with her damage late game

To have damage in late, she has to get fed at early and to just be useful. Sometimes it is extremely difficult. And if she doesn't succeed in being fed, it would be hard for her to comeback. And Jinx? Maybe she does not do much damage, but she is incredibly snowbally. She has to be team dependent and become stronger with every kill. She does not have to kill everyone 1vs1. She's not supposed to do that. Jinx is out damaged by almost everyone. But if she gets a kill (to do that she needs a good teamfight), she receives a powerful buff and if she deepens in killing then she does more damage than anyone else. It's easier for her to come back if she works with team. Basically, she sucks and then comebacks if the player playing her is good enough. Tristana has it harder and she relies more on early, maybe that's why she is strong at early.

while still being twice as safe?

Jinx has more range while using rocket launcher and long snare, tristana doesn't. Jinx is just immobile, but her passive compensates that. Jinx is a teamfight hypercarry, trist is less dependent on her team and has peel.

I want to refer to what MLDzXnRRR said.

Tristana gets outscaled post rework. They nerfed her AS and range and gave her better push.

I think that "outscaling" her means this: Her problem fighting against many champs is just that many champions deal tons of damage immediately. Tristana has to attack the target several times before dealing her big burst. The other champions do it with one click and deal much more damage.

Also I want to refer to your post.

As much as I hate Lucian's early game and Vayne's late game, at least they're weak at some point

Lucian has good early and falls of, vayne has bad early and it's so easy for her to come back, OP.GG says that her win rate raises by 11% in 40+ length game. tristana gets stronger in mid game but then she falls.

Lanes like Caitlyn

She hasn't 650 range, farming is not as easy, her E passive sometimes makes it harder for her to farm, she's not a lane bully like cait is, she doesn't have a passive that helps her last hitting..

but scales like Jinx

Jinx snowballs, she doesn't scale, so basically it's like you said she's weak but you're complaining about her xd

IMO trist isn't that op, maybe somewhat upper from balanced tier, but she has everything champion of the adc role needs. Maybe that's why she became so popular. Caitlyn now feels pretty clunky, who would still play her, they had no choice. Sure, cait was cancerous, but they probably overnerfed her, at least op.gg says that and that might be the reason. As a hypercarry trist is intended to have strong late but she has to meet several conditions.
