Riot really does some dumb shit. Why the fuck would you buff a lane like lux caitlyn. This shit is impossible to deal with. Complete lane dominance. Now I have four must bans for bronze. Lux Leblanc Ekko and Sej. Fuck Riot, how am I supposed to rise in elo with this game state?
Specifically I am referring to the lux caitlyn synergy buff.

- Just a faster pre-detonate E. Nothing special about it.
- Ult deals 50% bonus armor penetration, similar to Yasuo's ult. If you're not building any Armor at bot lane, this buff is typically useless.

You dont really understand. Lux and caitlyn have huge zoning pressure. Cait has strong harass already. Given Lux's more reliable cc, the zoning in this lane is MUCH stronger. You dont have to worry about being all in'd if you have decent positioning, but you do have to worry about being poked our repeatedly.

I get poked out of lane and my leona dies solo under tower. Every lane begins to feed at exactly that point. How is this my fault. I am going to get poked out of this lane. It is inevitable. Both Cait and Lux just got buffs as well. dont tell me i dont have a valid point.

The cait's buff only affect bonus armor so she'll do a tiny bit more damage against you so it's not much of a buff. Lux is still squishy as sona and will die to any all in. It's you and your Leona's fault if you don't push for level 2 against them and all in them then. If you play bot lane you know how strong the level 2 power spike is.

it is an extremely weak shield level 1. really easy to break before it apply the 2nd time

Sure. Ill easily go all in on a champ with enormous range. especially when she is surrounded by her own minons and i have to worry about caits piltover peacemaker and enhanced auto attack and lux's double snare..thats going to be really safe lvl 2. I dont have to worry about minion aggro at all lvl 2. Its really easier said than done and correct positioning on lux's part doesnt allow that.

. Destroy her face. Alternatively, you miss a few, farm near your turret. The Alistar might be nice for the heals and his ability to provide some CC.
Of course, Cait has a lot of range, so that's tricky but Jinx has some decent range and AoE damage that can be applied. Or play Vayne, farm near turret, be a late game hero.

I went with leona kog maw because id like to be able to deal some poke back to lux in teamfights. Maybe not the absolute best pick, but better than draven who drops axes to lux. Again, we killed cait in lane but lost more than enough cs due to lux's incredible range and caits potential follow up. I used to be able to dodge her slow. Now its too reliable.

3TWarrior1 voteswell, lux wasn't one of my favorite characters, but her playstyle is basically exactly the same...if someone casts her E, they know where they cast it and when they can detonate it
I think crowd control even cancels her ability to activate it even preemptively, so, the delay time for a normal lux player might have been reduced by a tenth of a second
also, I didn't say to nerf her, but removing her "buff" is a nerf, even though it would put her in the same place she was before the "buff"

Besides, She already builds mejahs. How safe does she need to be for people to pick her up?

The CC of Lux E ends when it detonates for damage. But you are probably complaining about the radius change. According to Riot it was already that large, the visuals and indicator just did not show it.
