No, because optimizing hybrid building will break hybrid champs. There's a reason you can't go a 6-item hybrid build really.

Good point. But 1 more hybrid item wouldn't hurt especially with the assassins rework. There are no ap assassin items and hybrid builds don't have easy access to armor/magic penetrations.

It's not meant to be a build focused on bypassing resistances. Hybrids tend to use on hit so attack speed usually works with them, I.e wits end that steals some MR. I can't imagine a hybrid jax or Kayle with good pen itemization.

How many Hybrid champions are there Jax Akali Kayle Mordekaiser. The items passive atk speed gain flat out doesn't work for Mordekaisers Empowered Attacks.

That's 25% of intended users who aren't building it because of a Bug

there have been many hybrid items over the years of league.

And they all failed, simply because when they are good for hybrid champs, they are too good for everyone else. When they are barely sufficient for hybrid champ, hybrid champs just build other items and nobody builds them.

it's kind of a tricky situation, and i doubt hybrid items will ever become a thing unless riot implements class specific items.

The reason there isn't as good hybrid itemization as AD or AP itemization is because there is not as much counterplay. It is harder to itemize resistances, and even if you fully itemize resistances against both it is de facto half as effective as itemizing full armor against AD.
