Anyone else grinding games for Prestige Caitlyn?

I am, and I haven't really run the math on how many games it'll take, but I'm about to. I remember the last event I wasted my tokens on chromas and borders and didn't get Lux (reee)

I think you get 12 for a win, 18 for a win each day, 6 for a loss, 200 with the pass, 120 with the free missions

so you get 320+18d+12w+6l

assuming you win a game and lose a game each day

36d=1680 d=46 so 46 days, too long to obtain

2 wins and 2 losses each day

54d=1680 d=31

which is doable.

I currently have 680 tokens, assuming I win x/2 games and lose x/2 games each day (play x games)

680+18d+9dx=2000 18d+9dx=1320

27 days left

9x=30.8888 x=3.4 ish avg games per day at 50% w/r

Maybe put your numbers into the last formula :)

I am actually nit. But i already have almost 800 tokens. I play 4 aram games a day. I started with 400 tokens and i am just playing when i feel like it and i will have the skin. I feel like its not really grindy this time but not much was changed

I mean it's not greed, it's "if you want these things you can buy them"

That's more consumer choice, which is an increase in welfare. If you don't want to buy the pass for the content it offers, you don't have to. Those that do like the content benefit from it being available

The alternative is this content not being available at all, which would suck

Or they could not implement shit like the $100 prestige aatrox skin and all these other hyper expensive golden chromas. That is a straight up money grab and people still buy them.

It's like the $2k sneakers Nike is currently selling.

Yeah I can’t play every day so I knew I wouldn’t make the prestige skin unless I got bundles with tokens/orbs. I really only wanted the miss fortune k.o. chroma and the game over emote. Guess I’ll see how far I’m off when the event comes near to its end.
