Also, why aren't people complaining about these champions then if they poke/farm harder than Zed?

DMouseslayer2 votesBecause Zed can do it without having to worry about going OOM. That's why they dont like Zed's. The only other manaless with good wave clear is Katarina but she only has 1 escape, not 2, and that escape is also usually used up to attack first whereas Zed can initiate and then escape with same skill.
That's the reason why they don't like Zed. Not because "people are sheep".

You can make him irrelevant with Exhaust and mild amounts of CC.
