Give Ryze back his numsbers
The issue with this champion isn't that he hits like a brick, plenty of champions do, it's that he hits like a brick while being absurdly hard to punish. Attack his range if you actually want to solve the issue. It doesn't matter how weak you make Ryze if I can't capitalize on that weakness. Ryze can farm entire waves without ever ONCE being in your threat range, thus killing him is difficult even if you are stronger.
Nerf his Spell Flux's range. No one cares about his Q alone, because it's actually relatively difficult to get hit by and offers no waveclear, and no one one cares about getting hit with Rune Prison alone, because it's just a weak slow. It's his stupid Spell Flux that's the centerpiece to this all. Nerf its range to **at least **550 and buff up his numbers if he dips too hard, IDC. Just let me punish the champion.
He needs to pay an actual price for his waveclear. If that price won't be cooldowns(resets) or mana(since he builds a ton of it), let it be actual risk.
