Karthus really needs a nerf right now

His play rate more than tripled and is increasing every day (meta abusers are all flocking into him), he sees play on almost every position in the game, and his WR is almost 55% (with that playrate increase!!! so theres 0 experience karthus players just getting free wins with him).

For reference, at the moment karthus overall stats are :

Pick rate : 9.5% (!!!!!! about 4~5 times more his normal pick rate) Win rate : 54% (a bit higher than his previous win rates when he had around 2% pick rate)

Singed was hotfixed for less, just saying, karthus as it is should be banned every game until he gets nerfed.

His win rate has a small sample without Dark Harvest , Karthus has always been this way , he is a good pick , out playable , thought his late game can be pain with his Ult but , that's how he is , every champion has something unique to their kit , and that's Karthus .

almost 10% pick rate is a small sample size? He had around 2% pick rate months ago...

His pickrate literally went up by atleast 4 times and his winrate went also up? Like isnt it completely blatant that hes broken now? Everyone and their mother is trying to abuse him in any position before he starts being permabanned and nerfed, its free elo.

To me , he has always been this strong but not in a level that needs to be nerfed Maybe your problem is dark harvest?

Please understand this: Karthus is not broken. Dark Harvest is broken.

Karthus' play rate skyrocketed in preseason because he can EASILY exploit Dark Harvest now that it procs on knocking someone down below 50% HP, and now that he can EASILY deal like 100+ extra damage on his ult if he hits someone below 50% HP. Dark Harvest is the problem, and it's breaking a lot of champions like Kayn, Brand, and basically anyone who can cheese easy stacks out of their opponents. I mean, for fuck's sake, Brand's burn DOTs, the Scorch rune, Teemo's poison, Cassiopeia's poison, Ignite, abuse the shit out of the new Dark Harvest because each tick can either snatch you a stack or deal the Dark Harvest damage to enemies lower than 50%. It's broken as hell, so much more worse than it's previous version.

he had a low pickrate months ago when adc's were actually viable now they're weak, only adc's that remain are ez, kaisa and lucian. the non-crit users karthus is a replacement for these weak adc's
