Champ Select bugs out on someone else and I get Penalized for it.. OK

WTF, okay so I'm in champ select for ranked right. Someone didn't pick a champion on the other team and it hit the 0 seconds left mark. It stayed at 0 seconds for maybe a minute, we were still able to talk in the chat. Then we finally get timed out, and guess what it says. It says that I dodged the game when me and my friend try to queue again and I had to wait like 5 minutes. Really? Yeah I was next to pick my champ but the other person didn't even pick anything and it bugged out at 0 seconds. Everyone else confirmed we were seeing the same thing in chat. So really? I really got penalized for this? Okay that makes so much sense, gj riot. I'm actually quite pissed I just lost LP for no reason at all, or should I say for someone else and League bugging out. Now I'm at -3 lp lmfao can I just say that that's just not even fair...
