Matchmaking is tilting in itself, Can this change?

Please don't match me twice with someone I just had a game with or against & please don't match me with people I just reported for being toxic. Most of the time it's someone who goes 0/something and they are tilted and on a loss streak. Keep in mind that I had someone like this that was toxic, I reported them and still got stuck with them in the next game. Are you serious this has happened me 3 to 4 times the past week and I lost my promos to plat and now I'm just tanking so hard. Its like Riot is trying to tilt me. HOLY. Can I just get a whole new team lol stop this. Like one time I won against a pantheon who went 0/11 then the next game I got him on my team.. thank goodness that was a remake. I'm already not doing too hot this ranked season but this is not helping at all. Riot, are you trying to tilt me? [sg-janna] Also something I'm seeing a lot in my games...people that don't know how to ward. Blitz supp at 50 min in only had placed like 10 wards all game and that's because I had to tell him to ward looool gold is really this bad still.. what? Trinkets are free like use them haha especially if you are support. I just want decent teams, it's so hard to get nowadays...

Matchmaking is wonky, but complaining about getting the same toxic people two games in a row... you do realize you can wait five minutes before queueing again, right? If there's someone you want to avoid, go take a piss or make a sandwich before you queue so the odds of falling in with them decrease. It doesn't take long to more or less guarantee you'll find different players unless you're super-high rank.

This game has always been rigged in terms of matchmaking. I was on a win streak. Suddenly started to get matched with literally newbies. It felt like they didn't knew the basic knowledge. Like don't go into enemy jungle alone in mid/late game. Or ward maybe. Or don't fight a 5/0 guy you fed and feed him even further. Or I got people who don't even know what champions do etc.

But then when I lost enough to get my MMR destroyed I begin to get decent teammates who even if the lose lane they can actually do something regardless and try to fix their mistakes instead of "XD it's FF" after feeding to oblivion. What is most funny enemies are same as they were when I was on a winning streak.

What is very interesting is that after win streak you start to get matched with people on hard lose streaks or playing most games with champs they have low win rate on. While when you are on win streak your teammates are on winning streak as well.all positive etc.

I mean match making has always been shit. The reality is, people think its worse now, but back in the day of season 2 and 3. That was a full out war zone. Didn't get your role? Most people would then troll you. Plus you cannot magically just change shit and expect it to be good. It will never be good, why? Human beings are unpredictable. Sometimes you get a game, people suck. Other times you get the great team. Take it in strides people, some shit you just have to cut your loses and move on.

I once had a trolling thresh adc and ap rammus duo who i reported, who were both toxic, and then they were both in my next game on my team again. I was promos so i couldnt even dodge...

It would also help not pairing people who know basic concepts of counterbuilding with people who don't even know what statistics mean. Yep, I just played a game with 4 AP champ who didn't buy Zhonya vs Zed. Riot, this SUCKS.

I think you've mixed a couple of different issues here. Matchmaking is awful, and not intended to get balanced (and then enjoyable) games; it's just about the 50% win ratio.

So, it doesn't matter who you reported before, nor if your teammates know how to ward (besides that means they are probably not really good, so if you've been matched with them it's probably because your time to lose has come :P).

#Sounds like you literally have to just not queue up the instant you lose a game.

That would fix your problem - just wait 5 minutes. There's a big pool of players of the same ELO to be matched with at most times so the matchmaker doesn't "recycle" players. But if you queue up back to back after you got tilted by a teammate, there's a good chance they did that too and you find yourselves pressing the same "play again" button at the same time, resulting in increased chances to be in the same game (not necessarily the same team).

I get that way too after someone tilts me and the urge to just play again instantly and not end my day in a loss is strong. But taking a 5 minute break in between losses helps me unwind a bit and not carry the same shitty mentality in my other games and blame my new teammates for the mistakes of my past teammates. Yea, they could be the same mistakes but me being the reason why i'm tiling again isn't helping me or my team play the game any better.

No we cannot change it as long as game balance is in its current state. No matchmaking system will fix that.

I wish i had the option to mute teammates in champ select, i really do, often they try to force picks that you are not comfortable with playing, want your role or, criticize your picks so you are a little tilted going into the game. You used to be able to block someone and couldn't see their chat in champ select but for some reason they took it away as if people are less toxic outside of game or something.

If youre in a game with someone who was frustrating or tilted, wait 5-10 before queuing up again. Theyll queue and get into a game and youll be able to do so in peace.

Thats only really an issue in the higher tiers or a server that has not that many players like OCE. If you Q up again right after the game you gonna be thrown in with the same people that do it aswell.
